You guys aren’t real fans. We look better tonight on the offensive end than we have all year. The camby, gordon, baron, thornton, zbo lineup has serious firepower. We just have to figure that defense thing out. Also, 1. Mike Taylor is awesome and 2. Kim Hughes seemed to liberate the team a little tonight, and it worked out. MDS please take note.
That was a good loss. I’m somewhat excited. We have some shooting to space the floor and a little more scoring. Let’s just hope camby never plays a non-center position EVER AGAIN.
I thought we had a better chance in scoring than allowing the other team to setup their defense. We can all remember the Spurs game where we ran a 12 sec play for only 9 secs left in the game.
wow that was wild. wouldve been poetic for camby to drain that last shot, too bad…
well this was game 1 with randolph and although taking the L hurts, im pleased with what im seeing.
z-bo will be fine, so please spare me with any jumping down his throat for his sub par performance. and dont forget kaman didnt play the last 3 quarters as well. and most impressive of all:
HOW ABOUT OUR ROOKIE PLAY!!!!
gordon has a sweet of a stroke as i can ever remember seeing in this league. if this is for real, forget about it. and i dont even have to mention taylor. i already know EVERYONE loves him. its impossible not to. he im making positive impacts whenever he is playing lately. and DJ even got some mins…..
heads up guys, its gonna be an exciting season from here on out…..
Thank god we sucked enough last year to draft Gordon & Taylor. Where would we be without those two? No doubt we’d have more wins if they got more PT to start the season.
Let’s just keep Ricky Davis glued to the bench, and not allow Thornton to shoot from outside anymore. That’d be great.
Ughh last play was ugly. Kimhughes 4 prez. Move him to head coach let dumbleavy be GM. No money lost, great. Eric Gordon and Taylor were fantastic. Jordan needs a lot of time.. Hope randolph plays better next game. im almost convinced we don’t need a new starting shooting guard but Al Thornton needs to play better.
Ricky Davis has been a bit of a mystery this season, averaging career lows pretty much across the board and shooting a frigid 27 percent. Wednesday he provided a glimpse of what might be wrong.
Apparently the tendinitis in his left knee has been flaring up a lot this season, making it painful to jump, shoot and cut. He’s tried to play through it because the team needed him, and he knew he had an opportunity to play a lot in the early going. Unfortunately the pain, he said Wednesday, has gotten to be too much and he’s going to shut it down for a little while to try and get things back in order.
“It’s awful. We’re probably looking at about two weeks,‘’ Davis said, when asked how much time he’d miss. “I haven’t really put a time on it yet. It was just a lot of pain going on.’
Why is he shutting it down now?
“I feel like I’m out there like 60 percent,‘’ he said. “I’m kind of hurting the team more than anything. I decided to sit down and get it right. I thought I could play through it a little bit. I’d rather get it right.’’

So Ricky’s knees are shot yet Dunleavy keeps playing the guy over Eric Gordon even though Ricky can’t hit the ocean from the beach?! What an idiot of a coach.
I don’t think its dunleavys fault. Players will always always say they’re ok if they can play at all. But he did say he shut it down because he was useless so better sooner than later. Go EJ!
No but it is Dunleavy’s fault that he’s a control freak. Kim Hughes comes in with pretty much no scripted offensive sets and 2 players that don’t know a single offensive play and the Clips play the best game they’ve played all year. Go figure. Only one Kim Hughes issue: why the hell was Mardy Collins getting all those minutes?

So there you. Trade went through and we’re getting destroyed at home again. Can we fire Dunleavy now?

where’s MD Sr. tonight?

They are completely incapable of putting together 2 consecutive positive events.
Everyone laughed at the start of the season but they will seriously struggle to reach 20 wins this year.

That had to be the worst possible shot imaginable in that situation to end the game. Literally. I cannot think of a worse shot.

damn that blows!
but there were some positives.

how about taking a timeout to set up a play with 9 seconds left?
