I completely agree. I like Baron, but he’s not going to carry the team in this system. I think the playoffs are a ludicrous goal. What has this team done in one quarter to merit that talk? I think .500, shoot 30 wins is the goal at this point.

Does anyone know when we get Minn’s 1st round pick? Is it 2012? 2011?

I’ve always liked Z-Bo, I remember trolling the rookie stats during the summer league when he got drafted and thinking to myself “This guy is the real deal, look at these numbers.” It was hard to miss out on the fact the kid was clearly above the rest of his peers back then.

People look at Zach and want to apply this prism of how the world should be with him in it, rather than letting him be the actual prism. We’ve gotta take advantage of the things he does bring to the table, and he feeds the stat lines in rebounds and points. The guy can be a major breadwinner for our organization if we find a way to include his game into our plans.

The more we try to mold Zach into something he isn’t, the more he will disappoint. However if we play to his and Barons strengths well be in a much better position to actually start forecasting a playoff appearance.

As it stands though, even with the changes, we arent making it to the postseason. But we should at least be an exciting team to watch and hopefully we can get the guys to gel a little better and maybe start turning heads towards the end of the season.

I will have to say though, last nights game was the most watchable game so far this season. I groaned pretty miserably at the end and had a tirade of profanities spewing from my mouth, but as someone earlier said, It was a good loss.

I never thought id say that and really understand its meaning, but hey, I’m a Clipper fan.

No player can help the clippers. randolph can’t help the clippers if stupid DUNLEAVY is the coach. and BENCH CHRIS KAMAN. he is one of the WORST starting centers in the league, if not the worst.

there’s no way this team is going to make the postseason. look at our record. everyone said that if the clips had a chance at the postseason, baron would have to put the team on his back. looks like he’s failing…

Marcus Camby, Chris Kaman, Al Thornton, are the main important players on the team at the starting lineup. Baron Davis and Ricky Davis is the least important ones because they are consistent in scoring.

Steve Novak, Zach Randolph, Mike Taylor, and Paul Davis are the most important players on this team on the bench.

Overall we need Al Thornton, Chris Kaman, and Zach Randolph to step up if they are going to have any chance to help the Clippers make it to the postseason.

Looks like Kaman’s got foot issues….so Randolph’s not looking like such a bad move right now. Is there any way Dunleavy as GM can fire himself as coach? He at least seems to be a better GM than Baylor (so far). I really don’t think the Clippers need a playbook. The team’s built like a AndOne streetball team. (especially if White Chocolate didn’t retire.)

I was actually surprised that Randolph did make some nice passes in the game. All i ever hear is what a bad passer he is. He took some ill advised shots, but he just looked a bit anxious. Kaman was money until he had to come out. Gordon needs to play 35 mins per.
