Well maybe not considering that this team almost gave me a heart attack down the stretch.
But W is a W is a W no matter how ugly it was in the end.
Unbelievable how the refs screwed us with THREE bullshit calls late in the 4th – and even more unbelievable how incredibly stupid Baron Davis once again played. Well, ‘unbelievable’ might be the wrong word – Baron losing games for us with horrid shooting and dumb decisions, such as in the previous game, has almost become the norm. Earth to Baron: You are not Chris Paul. You are not Deron Williams. You are not Steve Nash. Hell, you’re not even Devon Harris at this point. Get a damn clue, fool!
On a much happier note – if anyone is still doubting that Zach Randolph is exactly what the doctored order got his/her answer tonite. Z-Bo brought it all night long but especially in the 4th when it counted the most. He is the anti-Elton Brand in that regard. It’s gonna be interesting to see whether he remains the starter when Kaman comes back.
Also, Al Thornton finally played the way he should be playing – taking it to the hole for a +1 instead of jacking up circus shots. And it showed in his stats: 27 pts on the night. Same as Zach. Keep it up, Al. THIS is what we need from you EVERY night.
Oh yeah, and let’s hope Eric Gordon’s hammy is nothing serious……

are you kidding ? Baron DAvis made the passes to get randolph 8 points in that 13-0 run. Yes those two 3 pointers near the end were stupid but he also made two clutch shots before those. Maybe Randolph will settle down with Baron feeding him. I also liked his hustle on the offensive boards, he must want the points. OK the inbounds pass was stupid but whatever.
BD was key in making the plays that one us the game and scoring some of the key baskets in the end. So he didn’t lose us the game in any way. BD Zbo and Thornton are the reason we won today.
Was impressed with Camby. Thought Gordon did the best a rook could do guarding someone like Wade. Maybe we can steal a win in Dallas. I actually think these guys play better on the road.
3rd game for me today. I can’t say how glad I am that TT was traded away, but the true benefit of that trade was allowing a spot for Gordon to play. The thing I like about him the most, is that he seems unphased by anything at all times of the game. The kind of guy that purposely shows up to rookie tuxedo night during the Kings Hockey game so he can stay under the radar. Stone cold killer.
Other comments: Baron Davis needs to stop all of these 3 pointers at the end of the game. Go strong to the basket, please! D. Wade is a beast. How do you let someone go from the top of the arc, pass the entire defense, and dunk untouched? It wasn’t until the 4th when Collins finally contested a dunk and sent him to the hardwood.
Great game until the end. It was reminiscent of those loud exciting games of years past.
I have a question about the last play. Did Wade call for a time out ? Does hitting the ref mean out of bounds ? Did the refs actually have something to call ?
The heat desperatley need a center and a pg. Wade does EVERYTHING for the heat.

According to the rules you must be on the ground to call a TO. And also it should have been our ball because according to the rules the official is a part of the court. So if he is out of bounds anyone who touches him is out of bounds. D wade clearly hit the official while holding the ball so it should have been out of bounds our ball. But we won so it won’t matter in the end.
That was probably the worst officiating crew in the league…there was no way that Wade called a timeout on that last play, he just tipped the ball didn’t come close to having posession…but that officiating crew just blew call after call after call.
NBA referees the worst refs in all of professional sports…and sadly, they’re getting worse every year, it’s becoming a farce. The league needs to do something drastic before the game’s integrity is completely lost on the professional level.
FINALLY! A WIN. if we lost it @ the end, i would’ve given up on the Clippers. I shouldn’t even have come down to the stupid in-bound play. we were up 6 with less than a minute left, we should of closed it out.

Didn’t you say you were leaving in another post. Just leave please
A friend of mine actually got us tickets to be in a suite tonight. We were high fiving that we were getting win #3 with 40 seconds left, and then the heat scored a bunch of times, and i was half expecting a full court lob to marion for a dunk or something.
good thing we won, or it might have ruined my night

Don’t think you have to worry about Marion. Boy, is he a shadow of his former self. He’s in for a big letdown when free agency rolls around.

What BS call at the end of the game, How was Wade calling a TO? I love how the ref was pointing Heat possession before wade called the “TO”
Finally a win
