  1. avatar Another Loss Looms Said,

    I thought this was funny:
“Sat, Jan 3 – C Marcus Camby was as visibly upset as he has been all season when the final seconds ticked off the clock in the loss to the Philadelphia 76ers. Camby was heard to utter, “We suck,” as he walked angrily off the court. Camby had 19 points and 23 rebounds against Phoenix and now has three games of at least 23 rebounds.”

  4. avatar Pro-team without BDiddy Said,

Without Baron Davis, this team looks like a Pro-Basketball team.

Don’t let that Pointless Guard to play for Clips again.

the best part about the clips hangin on here with a lead 2 mins before the half is joe dumars looking like someone shot his dog.
i’m focused on football but checking back and surprised to be hanging in this one sheed or no sheed.

  6. avatar Play-maker?!!!!!!? Said,

Even Mardy Collins thinks & play like a PG. Why can’t Baron Davis do the same?

Don’t care even if we lose. This is how we should be playing every game.

Can we play like this STAR PG Baron Davis?

  9. avatar #1 draft pick Said,

Clippers picked Eric Gordon at #7. But he’ll prove himself as Dwayne Wade of 2008 draft pick.

This guy is 100% pure special. He has a heart made of steel.

I’m sure Zach Randolph is getting impatient to come back to play with this team(without Baron)

  13. avatar good game Said,

For goodness sake, please do not play Baron ever again. This team can do just fine with Collins-GORDON-Fred Jones-Hart running(not ruining) the team. Zach Randolph will have Gordon as a scoring threat from outside-inside & that will bring some breathing space. Thornton, Camby & DeAndre Jordan will be more productive once ZACH returns.

  14. avatar andrew Said,

great game despite the loss. Collins 12 assists, novak 15 points and deandre 9 points.

mardy collins 12 assists and 6 boards. he was 1 for 7 from the field but i guess thats better than 5 for 18 and uninspiried play from baron davis.

another monster game for camby 14 / 20.

I think if thornton can stop taking jumpers we have a team.

  15. avatar ghost_ride Said,

Other than Gordon playing the game of his life and putting the team on his back in the 4th quarter, it was good to see Novak & DeAndre get some extended playing time and produce.

Wish I could say I was impressed with Collins, but despite the 12 assists, he was 1 for 7 shooting, 0-2 FT’s, and continues to be responsible for some ugly, ugly possessions. He’s probably better than Hart though due to his rebounding ability and assist/turnover ratio.

  16. avatar transformation Said,

Eric Gordon can transform this franchise not just by his game also by his solid leadership.

Clippers were expecting this from Shaun Livingston. This time they got lucky.

  17. avatar VH Said,

Kevin, can you run some numbers on Al Thornton’s true shooting when he drives compared to when he shoots jumpers? I bet there is at least a 30% difference.

Great game for Gordon, this guy is going to be a legit star in this league. I only hope the time comes soon when the refs start giving him consistent foul calls. He was getting hacked in the third quarter and couldn’t buy a whistle. All around I thought the team played with great effort but you can’t expect to win a lot of games with 6 (7?) players injured.

  18. avatar Mungo Said,

Mardy Collins is almost as frustrating to watch as Baron. Dude just has not got a jump shot, but he can clearly drive the lane and is a very nice passer. So why the hell does he have to shoot so many pull-up jumpers? I know he doesn’t do it nearly as much as Mr. Davis, but then he absolutely never hits them, and never has been able to in his career.

Gordon looks sweet, as does Camby. I wouldn’t be very sorry if we never saw Davis in a Clippers uniform again, if we’re going to compile our usual losing record, I prefer to watch us do it with some guys who give a crap.

    the big difference Reply:

7 shot attempts are better than 3 for 18(Baron). The difference: All 5 players enjoy playing together without Baron.

  19. avatar the big difference Said,

There’s a stark difference between this game and all the previous ones.

ERIC Gordon applied his intellect 100% into this game and made all 4 players on the court to play in unison. Camby loved it. Only Thornton got little lost.

  20. avatar ian Said,

Looks like the EJ haters are dissappearing… So you guys can actually appreciate a player that plays within himself, passes really well but doesn’t turn it over, has a beautiful jumper, & is capable of averaging 17.0 ppg his rookie year (in games w/o ZBO)? Weird.

    Laker fans? Reply:

Laker fans can detect a real talent. When they saw Eric in Clipper uniform…it was too much for them. KOBE will be done in couple of seasons. So they decided to stir up Clipper Nation by downplaying Eric’s talent.

Dude the Clippers and Gordon are the furthest thing from the Lakers and their fans minds. They actually have a basketball team and a PG that doesnt suck ass
