In the last two games one stat that stands out is the amount of assists. The last two games the Clips had a 2-1 ratio of assists. Ball movement has increased dramatically and the players are looking for the open man instead of taking the first f-upt shot.
I’m beginning to wonder if Dunleavy basically went up to BD and said, okay, let’s try it your way and see what happens. I’m not going to harp on defense as much and you guys just go out there and score. Suddenly these guys are a lot of fun to watch.
I’m a big defense guy, but let’s see how far we can ride this thing.

Nah, this is not Dunleavy consenting to playing Baron ball – quite the opposite. Baron is FINALLY dialing down his stupid shot taking which is making a noted difference on 2 levels. 1) It cuts down on opponents’ fast break opportunities and easy points. 2) It means the ball is more often in the hands of guys, i.e. Zach, Gordon, Novak, Thornton, who can actually HIT their shots at a better clip than Baron who is dead last among starting NBA PGs in shooting %. Advantage Clippers.

TO DO LIST FOR MIKE DUNLEAVY:
1. Send Camby to Celtics(for a guaranteed first round(2010) draft pick.
2. Trade OMO-Al Thornton(OMO:Odd-Man-Out)to Atlanta Hawks or Orlando Magic or Miami Heat in exchange for…?
3. Make Baron Davis “FAH”(Feel-At-Home)
4. Bring back Darius Miles & Sam Cassell(Asst.Coach)
That’s IT. Then roll back. Relax. Order popcorn & soda.
ENJOY THE GAME.
