The Clippers’ rookie guard will not travel with the team to Sacramento for tomorrow night’s game against the Kings.  The injury is still being classified as a bruised left shoulder as of this morning.

I’m curious, if this is a this a record or not. I know injuries are commonplace in the NBA, but has their ever been another team to loose every single player to an injury during a season. When you go back and count the games that Mobly and Thomas missed, we’ve lost more players to injury this year than there are roster spots. If it’s not a record, do you know what the record is?

  2. avatar Philip J Said,

Oops. I guess Acker hasn’t been out with injury yet, so scratch that “every player” thing. Still, the seasons not over. So watch out Alex, the curse may be coming for you.

    Still waiting for the announcement.

Can’t wait to see Sam Cassell taking over this team.

Cassell will NOT take over this team. Coaching the Clippers is wishful thinking on Sam’s part – and a few other people around here.

  4. avatar Stian Said,

I hope it’s nothing more than bruised.

Typical: Just as we’re gaining momentum our super rook gets thugged by some Boston scrub. Just like Z-Bo by that punk, Voskuhl.
