Eric Gordon – Torn ACL
Sam Cssell – Homeless on Santa Monica Blvd.
Mike Dunleavy – Coach/GM/President/Point Guard/CPK Attendant at Fig enterance
Elgin Baylor – R.I.P. – In the ground
LA Clippers – 9-73 (R.I.P. 2010 season)
Taday’s game was another horrible game for the clipps. I was in the stands wondering why I am here, I could have been doing something better than seeing them play with out hearts.
Rudy Gay got hot, and hotter, and white hot while the Clippers went cold and then ice cold at the exact same time, ca. mid 3rd quarter.
As the Grizz scored bucket after bucket the Clippers got ever more desperate to catch up and score and the same ole bad habits reappeared. Instead of passing the ball guys – mostly Al and Baron – started to throw stupid low % shots that bricked and led to easy baskets on the other end (thanks tour Swiss cheese D – IF guys even bothered to get back in time to defend that is).
Next thing you know we’re down by 15, then 20, then 23 and the ship has sailed. Guys know the game is lost so they just go through the motions for the rest of the game, Mike Taylor, who finally takes over for Baron (good first half, atrocious in the second), being the one noteable exception.
I hope Dunleavy ripped the team a new one after the game – probably should’ve done that a long time ago. As Cuban said the other night when the Mavs got ridiculed by the Thunder: “If you can’t give effort on the court, you don’t need to be on my team next year.”
Is there any way to get Donald Sterling to sell the team? The Clippers need a complete overhaul from ownership all the way down to assistant coaching. EVEN IF IT MEANS LEAVING L.A.!!! We need ownership and management that has some semblance of manhood. The Clipper organization is P-WHIPPED!!! We need ownership and management to grab some of these guys by the GNARDS and hold them accountable for their lackluster playing. I’m tired of all these excuses for not playing. MIGRANE!?!?!?!? HOLY CRAP!!! I get a migrane every day at work!!! But I still have to work. Granted, I don’t run around and throw basketballs around for a living. But I am not getting paid MILLIONS of dollars for playing a game. I’m tired of these high-price #@%&’s just spreading their legs for every Tom, Dick (non pun intended), and Harry that they have to play!!! I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!
I think Al Thornton is my newest Clipper i love to hate. Not because he doesn’t score enough, it’s that he’s really a stupid basketball player.
I hate watching dudes with LOW basketball IQ’s. I hate watching Dunleavy shout at him time and time again after defensive blunders. I hate watching him jog back on offense with twice the energy and demand the ball. Then, on only about half of the nights, does he make more good decisions than bad ones with the ball.
He’s a nice player that needs to be delegated to the bench. He’d be a nice dude to bring off the bench if you need someone to score a couple of buckets…but cant be counted on to guard 3’s in this league.
I whole heartedly agree with you on this one. Here’s a scenario for the upcoming 2009 draft. One word…Griffin! We get Blake Griffin and put Al “Thorn In My Side” Thornton on the bench. Get rid of Baron “The Barren” Davis; get Steve Nash; get rid of Marcus “Can’t Be Me” Camby. Now we have the starting five: Steve Nash (PG), Eric Gordon (SG), Zach Randolf (PF/SF), Blake Griffin (PF/SF), Chris Kaman (C). We also have the backups: Deandre, M. Taylor, Steve Novak, Mardy Collins, Ricky Davis, and Skinner. Nash can lead this team. Someone with experience and a desire to win. Wishful thinking…

Camby is the best player we have and the only guy that plays with heart. Dude is diving for loose balls and contorting his body for monster tip dunks on a 20-62 team…
Gordon and Taylor always come to play – not just Marcus. As does
Jordan. Z-Bo always gives effort, too, as do Jones and Collins. The true slackers are Baron and Thornton which is a major reason why our perimeter D is so atrocious. If those 2 knuckleheads covered their man we would be much improved on defense.
Mrs. DUNCEleavy at it again. Z-Bo always gives effort….I guess you only watch one side of the floor Mrs.D. Z-Bo hasn’t played one minute of defense in his entire career.

Sterling Moves for next season:
Do Nothing.
Watch team go 6-76.
Then in 2011 make Dunleavy trade Gordon, Al, Mike Talyor, & DeAndre for Marbury, Artest, and Eddie Curry.
Then we can start Baron, Marbury, Artest, Ricky Davis, and Curry.
We will be the biggest thug team in the league.
We can finish 2-80 and own the worst record of all time.

Clippers, please, please, please just go away. Leave L.A., so I won’t have a reason to be a Clipper fan anymore.

Clippers really know how to take good, young talent and just destroy them. Why can’t Dunleavy get on the injured list…ummm…like forever?
