Oh My God. Just read an article at HOOPSWORLD stating that Dunleavy may be relieved of his duties as GM, but remain Head Coach. I’d prefer it be the other way around, but…replacements for GM are rumored to be Randy Pfund (not bad)…and Jerry Freakin’ West. Renewed hope? Maybe The Logo can find another coach, too, and stick it to the Lakers for being run out of town.

I’d rather he be kept as coach, so the new GM can fire him.

Jerry West? Reminds me when people were saying Kobe might sign with the Clippers.

If the first thing the new GM does is fire Dunleavy as coach, I will love that GM for the rest of my life.

That’s what I was thinking, I doubt Jerry West would build a team just to have have strangled by MDSr. The Logo built the Laker Dynasty, and turned Memphis into a 50 win team for at least three years. I hope he comes through, we’d finally have an atmosphere of legitimacy with a real GM.
