Haven’t been on this blog for awhile, good to see all you guys in the usual one great day a year for us, the nba draft lottery.

Myself, I am hoping and praying that we get the second pick. There’s a few teams that would pick Rubio at #1 though, New York being an obvious one if you look at it.

If we can land Rubio, we could trade Davis back to the Warriors for whatever we can get (add in Kelenna!) or even anywhere else, just get him out of there. Obviously Dunleavy should be gone (should’ve already been gone) also but the addition of Rubio and subtraction of Davis would do great things for us.

However, lets say we land the 1st pick. If we pick and take Griffin, it’s an idiotic move at best. He’s going to turn out decently but we already have the big man positions filled up with massive cash space. We should’ve never traded for Randolph.

We need to get the second pick.

To all those with high hopes for the draft, take a deep breath. Clippers probably will end up picking 6th. What does that mean? Look up the draft history. You know that guy John Stockton who is going into the hall of fame. the Clippers picked Lancaster Gordon that year. I know Elgin Baylor isn’t here to help with the draft this year because he’s black adn I’m not saying the Clippers can’t pull a rabbit out of a hat. I’m just saying that what usually happens is they end up doing the opposite; pulling a hat out of a rabbits ass and ending up with something small and stinking. I’m not saying it will happen again but c’mon people. Just take a deep breath.

His latest post says he’s with the team again. Not sure what’s ment by that, but could the Olympiacos beat the Clippers?

Dont not draft Rubio at 1 or 2. And the only reason i can say its worth it to draft him as the 3rd pick instead of trading the 3rd pick for a lower lottery pick (i.e. 12-14) and a player and drafting a steal like Terence Williams with that pick, would be to keep Rubio just for sure potential and the “hype factor” it would produce and bring to LAC, something that is desperately needed.

that could shine some spotlight on Eric, Mike and DeAndre… besides that: my confidence is not the greatest in the drafting Rubio option.
