[...] I wrote a little thing about Blake Griffin last week for Kevin Arnovitz of Clipperblog. Just thought...: “When most think of Blake Griffin, they think of “powerful,” “strong,” “skilled,” “aggressive,” “No. 1” or “Beast.” But when I think about him, I see that annoying little kid that used to run around and climb on everything during baseball practice. We all called him “Blakey” and everyone was always asking him to get out of the dugout.” [...]

Personally, I don't care if he's an arsonist with a studder and a few bodies buried in his backyard if he can PLAY SOME G.D. HOOPS! I'm so sick of watching this team lose that maybe the last thing we need is 'nice guy' and a guy that has a serious attitude and wants to kick some ass. But that's just my opinion.

Ricky Davis would be fine with another coach. Clippers are not paying him much anyway and isn't going to make or break the Clippers.

After reading this, we NEED to trade ricky davis (who's most likely exercising his option to stay on) and Z-Bo. These guys have killed more teams alone. Together, their powers are limitless as we can attest to last season. I want Blakey to succeed especially with the Clippers just to prove all the naysayers wrong. And there's a lot coming out the woodwork. I'll take 10 cents on the dollar for those two. Just get them out of here. Knowing Dunleavy though, he'll probably trade those two for Tim Thomas and Ben Gordon. (bangs head on wall)

Man, we are damn lucky.

First, we get Eric Gordon who is as levelheaded and hard working as they come. And now we get Blake Griffin who's cut from the same cloth.

That's the type of building blocks you need to be successful.

It's really pathetic that these two 20-yr old kids are more mature and have their act together more than an unmotivated lazy slug like Kaman or a Twitter obsessed Me, Myself & I primadonna like Baron Davis.

Stay the way you are, EGor and BGriff!

Very nicely said. He sounds like a terrific kid in interviews, and we're all hoping he's the answer to our prayers finally. There have been a lot of "saviors" to wear a Clippers uniform, but Griffin could be the real deal. Maybe some of his charm will rub off on the owner.

Thank you, a class act. You have to love a guy who had to work his way to the top, he earned it without promoting himself.

looks like we have the building blocks for a character team. you can look at the spurs to see what that got them...

all we have to do is have these guys wade through z-bo and half-hearted co.

but then again... that may have too much class for Mr. Donald "I want a bunch of poor black kids playing for a white coach" Sterling

It's good to hear the dude is a stand up guy. I like you said D.J., Griffin and Gordon are our future, and it looks bright!

It's great to hear from a first hand source that he is an excellent kid. The influence a good character guy has on your locker room is one of the very few things we actually can't measure with statistics. It's a good sign that our leaders for the future are going to be Gordon and Griffin- two humble guys who work hard 365 days a year and stay out of trouble.
