Nothing earth-shattering:
- Dunleavy could see Blake Griffin playing the 5, which makes a whole lot more sense when you consider Griffin’s skill set. Dunleavy concedes that Griffin won’t be as effective as a 3 until he refines his outside shot. This is somewhat of a revision of Neil Olshey’s comments from the initial press conference following the lottery.
- In any trade, the Clippers would be looking for perimeter depth (Go figure).
- DeAndre Jordan’s development, according to Dunleavy, is coming along nicely. Jordan’s ceiling? Tyson Chandler.
- Dunleavy anticipates that the 2009-10 team will run more.
- Off to New York.

I’m sorry, I hate his guts, I can’t look or listen because I will vomit everywhere. He is the biggest problem with our Clippers team, followed by the morons who gave him a contract extension and the GM title to ruin everything. 1 more year of this garbage is hopefully all it will take. Last year he said we’d run more. Lies lies lies.

Same stuff he said last year.
It’s great he mentioned the protesters that are going to come out on draft day to ESPN Zone Clippers draft party. How did he know? Well anyway, a few of us are going to be chanting ‘fire dunleavy’ during the draft party thursday if anyone wants to come down. 3-5pm, draft starts at 5 I think.

You guys sound like a bunch of fun people who are generally happy with their lives and like to have a good time.
No, wait, the opposite of that.

C’mon guys at least get excited for a legit #1 draft pick in BG and the potential dynamic duo with Gordon and Griffin. Baron’s been in the gym and DeAndre’s coming along. I’m getting depressed with all the hating going on endlessly.

The real estate market is starting to pick up. I have a couple condos for sale if you’re interested.

I find it really funny you should mention the housing market. It just so happens I’ve put more than 15 offers in the last 3 months in Corona, CA with no success. The real estate sales in Riverside is up over 49% over last year. I will take a condo actually.

That’s a smart polo. I am always fond of that logo and I’d like to see generally more use of the signal flags.

Sorry Chris – next year is not going to be a garbage year.
I believe DJ’s ceiling is higher than Tyson Chandlers.

Agree. DeAndre will surprise many naysayers. He’ll grow beyond ceilings.
He’s NBA’s next SHAQ without an attitude.

He’ll never be close to being as dominant as Shaq in his prime (or Shaq last year). He’ll probably be a decent player though.
And not that I know them, but their media personalities are probably pretty similar when shaq was coming up.

” We can go big , we can go small.. We can play fast , We can play slow ”
Dunleavy’s words after a playoff game in that 05-06 season

Give DTS credit for taking charge of an organization that never went anywhere except with Larry Brown. Brown stayed on this ship for less than two years and got off because he couldn’t deal with DTS.
The first three years under MDSr, the team’s won-loss record improved every year and we almost (should have gotten) to the conference finals.
The next year was a disappointment but still almost made the playoffs.
The last two years have been disasters but we do have some good talent on the team that MDSr assembled and had DTS pay big money for. At least we have some talent to talk about.
If the team has a bad year this year, then go ahead and fire him. Give him one more year to prove himself after everything he has done to turn this franchise around from a yearly loser.
