Zbo in a heartbeat. He’s a better player make no doubts about it. Brand gets shut down at the end of games because he’s too short to play in the post. You guys have all forgotten how the clippers would have a lead and then suddenly in the 4th quarter teams would clamp down on Brand the and we would lose the game. ZBo problem is the Dumbleaveme would run the offense thru him too much and we got predictable. He’s really unstoppable. I hope there is away to play him and BG at the same time, some twin towers stuff. But Zbo in a heart beat!

My issue with Zach isn’t his character, but rather his defense.

A silly stat you guys might remember is the Eddy Curry Line…players that average more TOs than Ast+Stl+Blk. Randolph’s name is always at the very top of the list…although thankfully after curry’s.

Zbo is a scoring machine who demands a double team. EB just recently developed a consistent outside jumper. I’m not sure what the “character” issue is. Zbo got a dui. That’s just life in l.a. If you put up a checkpoint outside staples center after a game the only thing keeping 1/2 the crowd from getting a dui is the fact that the beers are $12 each. EB is the one with a character issue; someone who does not honor his word and follows the advice of david falk like a hippie chick listening to charlie manson. the only reason EB is coming back to l.a. would be to make Rescue Dawn II Gitmo Boogaloo.

Given that Brand didn’t miss two seasons for the same injury, and there is still good chance he’s got lots of healthy years ahead of him, I’d say brand. That’s a chance that could go very wrong though.

I’d rather have Yaroslav Koralev that a traitor like Brand. He deserves every shitty thing that happens to him after skipping town in the middle of the night and leaving B.D. holding the bag. If we did not have Blake Griffin, I’d think I’d want Elton back. The injury thing is troubling, but he’s 20/10 and plays defense. But, I’d take what we have now over that without question.
