Nobody wants Z-bo... We're lucky to find a sucker with Memphis. Let's not blow this, because if he backs out, we're stuck with him... Paying 33 million to a guy who doesn't play defense, doesn't set picks and doesn't pass...

There's a reason why only sorry, desperate franchises have taken a chance on him... Detroit, Cleveland, Chicago and several other teams could use a scoring PF... None have the least bit of inerest in Z-bo... There's no way you get a good player like Hinrich for a loser like Zach.

He's been traded three times now in the last two years for nothing more than future cap relief... Tells you what he's worth, which is not much.

This is the only fucking reasonable trade scenario i've seen here in days. How can these fools forget that we were happy about the Randolph trade bc it gave us 2010 cap flexibility (as Camby is one of our expiring contracts). IT'S BARELY BEEN A WEEK YOU DOPES! Camby is staying -- he's an expiring contract! No more stupid Camby trade rumors!

Blake doesn't do much. Runs the floor pretty well and has a nice dunk off an alley oop from MT at the 7:04 mark.

Also pass. The trade exception the Clips get in the Z-Bo trade allows them to hold the current frontcourt depth and pick up a player from a salary shedding team. Don't need to trade Kaman or Camby now, and trading Camby -- not Kaman -- is the only move that seems sensical now.

If I were in charge, I would try to send the Rockets Chris Kaman and Ricky Davis for Shane Battier, Chuck Hayes, and Brian Cook.

Thoughts for both sides?

As for the Clippers, they would still need to find a decent backup PG and C in the free agent market, but that would give them a nice 15-man roster.

Davis/FA/Taylor
Gordon/Collins/Richardson
Battier/Thornton/Novak
Griffin/Hayes/Cook
Camby/FA/Jordan

First Houston would need to add another player to make the salaries work for either Kaman or Camby. The problem with trading either is it would leave a big whole at the Center position or PF position. I don't think Jordan is ready to be a starter and if he is the only option behind injury ridden Kaman or elder Camby, then he would be. It is a gamble though because Battier seems to be the perfect fit for our team at SF.
