I agree completely about MDsr…he is probably the worst HC in the history of the NBA. He has pretty much run every franchise he’s ever coached into the ground. I too am a season ticket holder and proudly boo Dumbleavy every night. As a GM he has done a good job, but he is a TERRIBLE game manager, makes zero in-game adjustments, loses the confidence of his team every season and does not coach to his players strengths like a good coach does.

I am thinking about the 06-07 season where the Clippers were slacking for a period of time. Part cassel missing games and Livingston going down.
It was’nt till the last 20 games or so that they really played hard and were
8-2 for one stretch, or similar. They were too late though because they missed the play offs by 1 game.

I noticed the same type of fight in the Clippers last season after aquiring Zach. They beat Portland on the road. Beat the Rockets at home.Beat Miami at home. Were up by 17+ points at Dallas before falling apart and loosing by 1.

They too went through a stretch of games playing to win. I sure hope they come out with that fire from day one this year.

Shiiiiiit, for some reason I thought Pops had been signed. Now that you mention it, I can’t remember which time I thought he was signed to.

But I mean, sign him up now. Not only is he probably a better player than Skinner and Ely right now, he actually has a lot of potential to improve, whereas Skinner is clearly on the downside and Ely is never, ever healthy.

Well he’s only got 2 more years in his contract and I think they’ll get rid of him if he gets off to a bad 1st half. Problem is they have an easy schedule starting the season and Dunleavy will probably survive so he can blame the 2nd half of the season on injuries. Just don’t expect 3rd row center courts seats to go for more than $100 on stubhub unless the lakers are playing.

I dont care what you say, Dunleavy is ok in my book. At least he has given us one great season and a lot of hope for the future.

Hi Fire Dunleavy,

No one hates Dunleavy more than me. I haven’t posted in a while but you might remember one or two.

Anyhow, I finally caved and got split season tickets (I’d been a STH for years). God I hope I don’t regret it. If this team had Bird, Magic and Jordan all in their prime with Dunleavy as coach they’d suck trying to follow his game plan.

Novak has some value. Dunleavy just needs to not pull Daniel Ewing’s and bring him in cold thinking he can snipe right away.
