Dissecting the Side-Screen Roll Since 2006

Preseason: Maccabi Tel Aviv at Clippers

Posted by Pedro Moura On October 20, 2009 at 7:46 pm

The game is on AM 980. No television tonight but I’ll have a recap after. A few notes before we tip off here at Staples.

  • Sebastian Telfair and Rasual Butler will both be suiting up tonight — Telfair in the starting lineup.
  • Al Thornton and Marcus Camby won’t play, but Rasual Butler will after he told Mike Dunleavy that he didn’t want a day off.
  • Dunleavy spotlighted Maccabi’s Alan Anderson and Maciej Lampe as the Clippers’ main focus when on defense.
  • Talked to Kareem Rush, who seems like he has a good shot at making has been told he has made the Clips roster, despite Dunleavy’s known penchant for rostering only 14 guys. Dunleavy clarified that perception, saying he only likes to carry 14 guaranteed contracts. Rush’s contract won’t be guaranteed until January.

More to come postgame.

  1. Slax Said,

The highlights are already in from the first half of the Maccabi charity game. Nice fast break plays and the pass from Telfair to Griffin is totally ill.
