[...] • ClipperBlog: "By offloading Zach Randolph onto the Memphis Grizzlies, the Clippers have positioned themselves to have considerable cap flexibility headed into the 2010 offseason. Assuming Sebastian Telfair exercises his player option, the Clippers will have somewhere in the $12-15 million neighborhood once they sign their first round draft pick. Could the Clippers conceivably throw that money at one of the big-ticket free agents on the market next summer? More important, will the franchise show enough promise and forward momentum this season to make it desirable destination for such a big name?" [more] [...]

Some bad news, Blake Griffin hurt his knee in that moster of a dunk that he did on the Hornets. He might not be availabel to play on Tuesday. This will be a big blow to the Clippers, I just hope it is nothing big.

Just when I was starting to drink the Blake Griffin kool aid, he hurts his knee. The Clippers are looking better than I thought though. A lot of the players worked out in the pre-season. Or maybe that's because all the starters are in the 4th quarter of their final pre-season game.

really, why the doom and gloom? I really think this team has a strong shot at making the playoffs. The only place we don't have an awesome player at is scoring forward but we have some trade bait to make some magic happen. Clippers will have a winning record and make the playoffs!

I agree with 38. Although if Blake is out for an extended period, I say 30-32. And if they are out of the playoffs by the All-Star game, Baron starts banging the drum for a trade. Wish it was more optimistic.
