  You’re right- at least the second unit is playing with some energy. If mistakes come because the energy level is too high, you can live with that, but that certainly wasn’t the case with the first unit.

It will be interesting to see if Baron starts the second half- he didn’t play at all in the second quarter and may be hurting a bit. Telfair and his unit were much more effective anyway.

Clippers are probably down 16-20 without Craig Smith’s contributions. The bench guys really stepped it up that period.

  Good question- my guess would be that he didn’t get a lot of looks because Minnesota preferred to run their offense through Jefferson and Love. He was also in foul trouble a lot when he played extended minutes, so that many have something to do with it.

we are playing horrible….Baron Davis looks lost this early….the Clippers better play well and not feel sorry for themselves or they are going to lose the little fan support they still have….

I like Kaman shooting the ball with 1 dribble or less like he is doing, but a lot of them are outside shots and I’m not as confident as those but at least they’re closer than Baron’s shot tonight. Come on BD, you should own the opposing PG’s.

Baron has been terrible offensively, but he’s done the best job out of anyone on Kobe in post up situations. Let’s see how Butler fares here.

If only our starters would be as fun to watch as our bench. It’s not something we Clipper fans are used to. Baron & Al & even Butler for that matter are having awful shooting nights & it has to get better. First game with so much hype & hope i hope they are just trying to do too much and making things worse. Even Jordan hasn’t looked to stellar.

What do you guys think about Rondo? It looks like he’ll be a restricted free agent next year and I would love to swing a sign-and-trade as I believe the Celtics would match any offer (unless the relationship deteriorates even further.)

same ole story….we get within 2 ….and ITS LIKE IMPOSSIBLE TO GET OVER THE HUMP….we either take and miss horrible shots …or turn the ball over…it never changes…
had Baron Davis played atleast a mediocre game we would have probably won…..

all is not bad though Eric Gordon is our future and we better covet this guy…hes the type of guy i can see us retiring his jersey…..

on a positive note…..we shoud win tomorrow….if we do not beat the fucking SUNS…….
the season is over…
we should not lose against any team that does not have a Kobe Bryant….
