Born Woodrow Wilson Guthrie, he was an underdog from day one with that name. Just like a Clipper.
Perfect photo for a Clippers’ game in Okie.

To Dunleavy’s credit they have been running some very simple but effective plays for AT right under the rim the last 3-4 games. Putting his size to use.

Mike: “I was a great defender”
Ralph: “Yes you were. You defended your spot on the bench like nobody before or since”

  5. Beard The Curse Said,

Nice win on the road. Let’s get one in Nawlins vs. a CP3-less Hornets team.

Every non-Clipper fan I know has said the same thing to me this year over and over, “you guys have so much talent, how the hell are you losing so many games?”

    Let’s this around, please.

  6. Slax Said,

Umm maybe because the talent is injured and not playing. Good win tonight and the difference was the third scoring option ie: Thornton and Kareem Rush scrapping and playing good defense.

rasual butler = useless, brick throwing dissappointment.

the guy doesn’t deserve the minutes he’s getting. so glad his contract doesn’t go beyond this season.

relieved that we got a win tonight and good to see thornton starting to get his confidence back so be that scoring spark we need.

did thornton really grab all those huge offensive rebounds or were my eyes playing tricks on me.

Benching Al to start the season has really lit a fire under his arse. I really hope he gets minutes at the expense of Butler once EJ gets healthy.

  10. Patrick Said,

Great game for Thornton—good to see him taking it to the hoop (and cutting without the ball) instead of going 5 for 15 on hand-in-his-face turn-around fade-aways. The Clippers took care of the ball, played decent defense, and pulled out a big win. If they’d have stepped it up on the defensive boards it wouldn’t have been close. Still: so awesome to see some composure in the fourth.

I guess Ricky Davis isn’t going to play another minute this year.

I would much rather see ricky davis on the bench than on the court.
