I think the biggest factor from friday's game compared to other games was the energy level. From the last minutes of the 1st to about the time that the CLips had their biggest lead.. they played with lots of energy. Especially during the marvalous run the 2nd unit was ALL OVER the ball... You can see Denver panicking on offense because melo was on the bench and no one was able to get off a decent shot. I remember ESPN highlighted a stat that showed the Clippers had taken about 10 or 15 shots by the mid mark of the 2nd quarter while Denver had only taken 5 shots up until that point.. The energy level was at its highest yesterday and it pays off when you have Rasual butler hitting his shots... I think their offensive spurt lead to their great defense last night.... Unfortunatly Dunleavy will get most of the credit for beating Denver.. even though it seemed as if the players were out playing their own brand of basketball and running plays based on what they saw on the floor. Dunleavy is more of a "set play" type of guy... and while bassy was ont he floor in the 2nd it just looked like pure poetry being assembled right in front of our eyes. If we can get this type of efffort from our guys night in and night out then we should be able to expect a nice playoff run come april.

Agree. He's only 25 but matured beyond his age. He's our fail-proof insurance policy just in case Baron or Telfair get hurt. Still he should be on the floor during crunch time.

for you Duncleavy supporters, take a look at the rosters of Houston and Sacramento and see what real coaches are getting out of those wretched teams. Even with the injuries the CLips put more talent (supposedly) on the floor than those two teams.

I hate to admit it, but Dunleavy benching Sool was the spark he needed to get the fire started. I know everyone's saying that R. Davis got the start over Butler because of match-up issues, but seriously, I really think it's because Butler hasn't been playing well and R. Davis has been playing like a champ in garbage time. I could be wrong, but I really don't think players get starting time because of match-up issues.

If that's the case, here's to seeing Butler on the bench the rest of the season!

Dunleavy still needs to go. We allowed a 20-4 run again late in the game. Winning teams don't let other teams back after being up by 18 in 3Q....
