If we begin to analyze rationally, we’ll be able to appreciate Dunleavy’s contributions to this team. I’m glad that we are not in a rebuilding mode inspite of winning top draft pick. With Kaman, Thornton, Gordon and now Griffin, this team can sustain its strength without wasting away few more seasons.
Dunleavy deserves to finish his coaching career here next season with our gratitude.
I am saying good-bye to fire dunleavy campaign for good.

In the words of John Travolta, “That’s a BOLD statement..”
We have to keep in mind that Our roster is going to look pretty empty after this season. I think if we want ANY chance of landing a big time free agent in the off-season we need to show that we want positive changes within the organization. Many players know that the Clippers haven’t had success for years and recently it has to do with the players giving up on the coach. Do you think a free agent would want to come to a team who doesn’t respect their coach? I don’t think so. I know money talks, but pride does as well, You don’t want to lose for 5 years staight.either. Lets also not forget that things may have looked different had we taken Danny Granger instead of Yaroslov.. These were choices that were made by Dumbleavy. I think we need a change regardless, if Dumleavy can’t turn thngs with a minus Griffin team (which on paper still looks legit) then he needs to be out… No excuses an inexperienced Kings team is doing better than ours.
they are missing way too many buckets near the paint and taking too many ill advised shots… kaman needs to post up.. he’s been throwing up jumpers all day
How so? Memphis has been playing well, coming off a victory against Portland. 8-10 so far, 5 more home games to go. I think it’s time to give this team a little respect.
Now add Sam Cassell to our Assistant Coach list. Sam & John(Lucas) have that insane ability to drive any team to perform craziest stuff on the court.
Gordon is not going to accept defeat without a fight. Baron is almost there. If he begins to believe alongwith Griffin, this team can become THE BEST team ever to wear Clipper uniform.
8-10 record already. Enough to make Griffin come back with a BANG. Defeating Denver, Detroit and now surging Memphis…, I think it’s time to treat this team with respect.
With some really bad loses in that mix too. And Detroit without it’s big three is not an impressive win. Denver, absolutely. This comeback? Glad they pulled it off. Fun to watch.
How did they win this game? I taped it and watched it after I already knew they won and at the end of the 3rd I thought maybe Yahoo misreported it or something. I’ll take it.
I give up. Some people who were watching the game on TV said Lucus was doing most of the coaching in the 4th, he was standing up a lot, I don’t know. Doesn’t matter. Dunleavy is here for the rest of the year. There is no excuse for this team not to make the playoffs.
600th career win for coach Dunleavy. CONGRATULATIONS, COACH!
It’s nice to have Lucas as Asst.Coach. Dunleavy is a serious guy. But Lucas brings human touch to our squad. He doesn’t care what people think(like Cassell). All he cares about is team’s chemistry and winning. That’s what everone wants. .
Astonished this team is at 8-10. Some are surprised and thought the Clips would do better. Although expectations for the team were high, the seasoned LA Clipper fan knows to face the season with guarded optimism. I figured about 25 wins on the season for the team and am quite surprised the Clips have shown this much fight. As always with this Dunleavy coached team (throw in a terrible fit at point guard with Baron Davis-Dunleavy doubles as GM), any consistant effort is sorely lacking. Nice to see the victories though…
This win almost made me forget about the bad lost that the Clips had in Indiana. The only thing that this team needs is consistency and they will be in the playoff race.
Now that the Clipps are 18 games in what is the consensus win total now? Is 41 wins feasible? OKC and Houston are in the thick of it so far. Are the playoffs out of the question?
Did anyone else notice that all the cutaways to the coaches on tv went straight to Lucas? Dunce just stood there pretty much during that crazy ass run and looked like an idiot. Lucas was the one standing (in a cast no less) and was egging players on and acting like an actual coach. I think it says a lot to how the players responded by pulling out a miracle win. I couldn’t believe my own eyes..

First quarter was ugly. Very ugly. I think it was 4 or 5 turnovers in the first 5 or 6 minutes.

Kaman is so unreliable. Thornton too. I wonder if they’re going to complain about being tired again when the game is over.

2 things happened in a big way:
EFFORT (in the 4th quarter).
ERIC GORDON (w/ avengeance!)
Now all we gotta do is bottle this chit and we’ll be fine.
