No wonder they’ve lost 7 players due to injuries. By the end of season, they’ll probably have 2 men standing.

Finally got this game tied up. Got to make it rain now. Aside from Butler, what’s up with our bench? Feels like there’s no energy at all.

Holy smokes, Zach Randolph had 28 and 13 tonight and the Grizz are rolling. The Clippers made the right trade correct?

  9. avatar Newport Clipper Said,

    Can we fire Dunleavy now?

For every game we win (Boston, Denver) that we are not supposed to, we lose many more when we have a clear advantage and/or give up a substantial lead.

    That’s coaching. BAD coaching.

we win the games players are motivated for (Denver and Boston). Games against less exciting teams we are outhustled night after night after night….

Getting outhustled and losing to the Portland Summer League team is simply embarrasing… We are lousy…. Either trade the entire roster or get rid of the coach. DO SOMETHING….!!!

For as much as we ALL love Gordon. He is extremely limited. And a more well rounded 2 would help us infinitely. Maybe he can become that guy but right now he is not. I think he has like 5 or 6 assist today but that is far from the norm. There shouldn’t be a starting 2 guard in the league averaging 2 boards and 2 assists a game. It’s pathetic.

Basically, if he’s not scoring, he’s almost useless out there.

Hat’s off to Portland… they beat the Clips with a shorthanded roster. But if you’re dropping streamers from the rafters after beating the Clippers at home 30 games into the season, you suck.

    streamers Reply:

they do that after every home win.

Clips’ fans have no face to say another team “sucks,” especially when that other team has 8 more wins than the Clips with a much more undermanned roster.

  13. avatar Formerly Section 113 Said,

Ok, no oden, no Pryzilla, no Aldridge, no Outlaw, missing a couple of others and still no W…nice coaching DUNCE….WTF, is Baron—2-12 at that time– doing taking the key show down 4 with a half minute to go? Kaman has been unstoppable to that point and you don’t at least get him a look and at minimum a pass back out to an open shooter if they double him…this is why coaches have hated Baron, he is a selfish fat pig, who doesn’t give a crap about winning. Lawler and Smith raving about another double-double for him….damn he shot 2-15, he is why they lost…

As for their Celtic victory, the Celts have now lost 3 straight, so it looks like the DUNCEheads just caught them at the right moment…

So we’re 13-18, 51 games to go, benchmark for playoffs is 45 wins in the west…that means 32-19 the rest of the way. I ask this question, have they ever gone 32-19 at any point in the team’s “storied past”. Hello Lottery.

  14. avatar Newport Clipper Said,

Mike and Ralph have now given up. They are the biggest Clipper homers in the city, and they are really trashing tonight’s effort.

This is like when LBJ lost Walter Cronkite over Vietnam…at that point, he knew he was toast.

Did I just compare Mike Dunleavy to Lyndon Johnson? Ralph Lawler to Walter Cronkite?

Well, I guess that would make the Los Angeles Clippers = Vietnam…a quagmire, for which there is no way out.

    Oh me, oh my….

(and, yes, I realize my post is ridiculous…I am just so p***ed off right now at this lack of effort)

  15. avatar Formerly Section 113 Said,

and one more thing about the DUNCE, article in todays LA Times about Kaman makeing the All-Star Team, and they ask DUNCE if he thinks it will happen, and the F’in moron says, “I don’t think so”, cites all logical reasons, losing record etc….but as a coach/GM shouldn’t he be lobbying for him, saying how can he not make it…he is having a better year than any center in the league, etc. etc. no he gives Jackson ammo for not picking him, now JAckson can say, his own Coach/GM thinks he shouldn’t make the team. What an ass he is ….great way to get your players behind him.

Yeah, I saw that too and thought the same thing. Dunleavy is the world’s biggest killjoy. I’ve never seen a more miserable looking bunch of players. How do you think this roster would be doing with, say…Alvin Gentry? So stop bitching about the players everybody. IT’S DUNLEAVY!

It’s time to say good-bye to Marcus Camby. With DeAndre, Skinner, Smith and Griffin around the corner, we’ll be fine.

Why didn’t we keep Taylor and QRich for a season instead of getting Telfair & Smith?
We could have gotten better deal in exchange for Camby.
