UPDATE: Chris Kaman won’t play.
UPDATE: Neither will Al Thornton (sprained left ankle)
Any word on Kaman starting?
He’s very unlikely to go.
Remember how I was complaining about the bench not getting utilized earlier in the season and the heavy minutes would lead to injuries with our starters….
How bout them Dodgers?
Clippers have won MORE playoff games than DODGERS since 1988!!!!
I was wondering, I’ve recently been thinking about a commercial line from years ago that I’ve really been longing to see again as I have been writing an article comparing the marketing techniques of various Major North American sports leagues. It’s the commercial that features a rap song with the lyrics “put the ball in the basket man”. I haven’t been able to find it but I’m certain there was one with clippers footage in it. I was hoping somebody would be able to direct me to it. Thanks a lot. Great blog, I love your work.
All the best,
how do we lose this game? this bullshit is pissing me off we played great defense and shot lights out and lose by one fucking point. I’m so sick of refs making horrible calls that wind up throwing the whole game outta wack.
It’s sad but the reality is we are too good to be in the John Wall hunt but not good enough to be in the playoff hunt. Which equals a sucky rest of the year for us.
As pissed as I am we lost this goddamn game, I am taking a little solace in the fact that they didn’t mail it in after such a major ass whupping last night. But this one, like so many others, leaves me feeling like I was about to hit all six numbers in the lottery and then the dog wakes me up from my nap.. Awwww clipperdom.
Now, LeBron has every reason to consider Clippers as his next team. What??? they played us this good without any help from Kaman & Griffin? Then how good this team can be with:
Griffin, Kaman, LeBron, Baron & Gordon line-up?
Great game. They won 4 and lost 4. Now, go & win next 5.
We lost this game ’cause Camby & Baron played with far less energy & focus.
Not to knock Baron, and I love how he’s been facilitating the offense, but that wasn’t a smart play. I know hindsight is 20/20 and we’d all be cheering if he made that shot, but in those situations, you have to go with the hot hand. Gordon should have been the one to try and drive to the bucket, and if he didn’t have a path, kick it out Butler for a shot. What a disheartening loss.
At least we have New Jersey and Chicago coming up. Good way for us to turn it around before the eight game road trip.
The last play was supposed to go to Gordon, cause he was wide open, but some reason, Baron didn’t pass it to him. Maybe it was cause he was stumbling against the defense.
