- 22-year-old Yaroslav Korolev has been logging meaningful minutes and has put up some respectable numbers with the Albuquerque Thunderbirds of the D-League.

- Chris Kaman’s field-goal percentage drops considerably in the fourth quarter. I think this is less likely a product of conditioning and clutchness, as it is a tendency for opponents to double Chris late in the game.
- A couple of sources have said the Clippers aren’t likely to move Marcus Camby unless they’re absolutely overwhelmed by an offer. Some of that can be attributed to Blake Griffin’s season-ending injury, but much of it has to do with the fact that there aren’t that many available players who are compelling to the Clips and who fit their very particular needs. The Clips are a team that’s set at four of five positions for the foreseeable future. Good healthy small forwards with reasonable contracts are in short supply.

Funny stuff about Baron Davis’ point of view when he was shooting free throws and everyone was evacuating the building during the Memphis game. Also, I want a Baron Davis beard. How do I get one?

Oh no no, at the end of the podcast from the Jan. 15 link, Baron talks about selling “Boom’s Beard.” He’s probably messing around, but if he’s for reals, I want one. I’d wear that to the Clipper game everytime.

The Clippers should give Yaroslav Korolev a ten day contract. He has been playing suprisingly well, and he is familiar with Mike Dunleavy’s system…

The trade deadline is Feb 18th. No need to rush anything now. Hopefully he won’t get injured in the next few weeks so the Clippers can get something for him.

i like that idea .500 baby! we should be happy we got a player as good as camby for free basically, which is a miracle in itself. our defense is the mechanism that allows us to win games, trading camby is suicide.

I think I saw Marcus Camby outside of Staples with a sign over his neck that read:
“WILL WORK FOR RUDY GAY!”
But of course I dont think Dunleavy is shopping Camby.
