If you are undersized you have to be fast and able to create off the dribble. If his ball handling skills improve he will get a lot more room to free up his shot and not be so predictable. Thornton is learning how to become a consistent scorer by gauging his defender and sealing underneath if larger or pulling up if he's out muscled. His game would improve a lot if he worked on going into his defender and creating contact instead of fading away and getting a much harder shot.
