This offseason he should try to develop some post moves.

This reminds me of the dunk Blake dunked on Mbenga…except this one is a real dunk.

I can really see DJ being a mini Dwight. All he needs are the post moves and better FT shooting. And we got our own Superstar right there.

i do not think his ceiling is as high as everyone thinks. if you watch him on defense he does have a clue what he is doing. i know he is young but he has SO many areas that he has to improve on that it could be YEARS before he realizes his potential.

DJ needs to play 35min a game or until he fouls out. He’s one of the few Clipper players that will be returning. There’s no other positives that can come out of the season.

Disagree. If Clippers keep winning 22 of next 26 games, we still have a shot at 8th spot. Portland is trying hard to stay alive. Spurs are struggling. Memphis and NOH are bound to give up pretty soon. If we remain unbeaten rest of the way, the league will go crazy.

At the current rate Portland would finish with 45.9 wins. So the Clippers would have to go 23-3. You’re joking right?

Not really. It can happen with our strong finish. At the same time few things need to happen.

    1. Quickly Clippers need to catch up with Houston, Memphis and NOH. This can happen faster if Clippers keep winning and those 3 teams stay below .500 win %
    during next 10 games.

    2. Portland & Spurs stuble and find themselves in a dangerous losing streak.
Any further injuries to their star PG’s could joepardise their chances. Atleast we can make them look over their shoulders.

Statistically we’re not done yet. Until that happens we have to keep winning with the sense of urgency.

I appreciate the silver lining, but Kim Hughes has never been a head coach and to expect him to take this team on a 23-3 winning streak is a little far fetched.

To even expect of that Phil Jackson is asking a lot.

Kudos if Hughes can do it but its unrealistic.

Clippersmarch is either 10 years old…or a certified idiot…..I will give you a 1000-1 that they don’t play .500 the rest of the way….as long as Rin Tin Tin is the floor leader this is a losing team.

8th seed? HIGHLY unlikely. I would like to see them make it at least a 36 wins season, and go .500 at home.

If we don’t win 20 of next 26, it’s pointless to keep current free agents. If we win most games and end up having 42-40 season, then we can be sure of this team + Griffin.
Next season we don’t want to be the team eying 8th spot. Our goal should be 1-3 spot. Nothing less is going to work.

Let’s hope Kim Hughes succeeds this season.

20-6….I don’t think the Clippers have had a 20-6 stretch in their entire existence.
