Transition is the buzzword floating around this summer, and for good reason. There’s a new head coach in town after Mike Dunleavy held the post for seven years, which is an eternity in this landscape. There are eight new players on the roster, five of them rookies. There’s a new general manager calling the shots upstairs.

There are some things you can watch over and over again and never get sick of. Eric Gordon’s jumper is one of  those things. It’s absolutely picture perfect. Look at his feet squared up, his balanced base. Check out how his shoulders are always perfectly aligned with the rim. Watch the elbow line up perfectly, his fingers spread across the ball, with the perfect jump forward, wrist snap, and follow thru. It’s a coach’s dream from start to finish. I could shag down rebounds for Eric Gordon all day long and never be happier.  More...
