Going into the third pre-season game, the Clippers haven’t been exactly a model of consistency. 29 point loss, 32 point win. Al-Farouq Aminu dunks a donut and fouls out then scores 17 and pulls down 8 rebounds. So what’s going to happen tonight? Who knows, but you can talk about it on this thread for tonight’s game.

I don’t think it’s going to be televised, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have opinions.

There will be interesting match-ups between David Lee / Wright and Chris Kaman/ Griffin.
Then you also have the good ol’ Eric Gordon / Stephen Curry renuion .

Should we expect a repeat performance from the Kamagiffin duo ? who combined for 38 points in 43 minutes lastnight?

Gordon will hopefully get comfortable with the pace and heat up from deep .

Well I hope we’ll start to see some consistency from our team. This def should be an interesting match up… It is however the Warriors first preseason game. I’m curious to see the matchup between Griffin and Lee. To be honest I’m just curious to see Griffin period. The more the merrier. The match up between EJ and Ellis should be good hopefully. I know Ellis can score in bunches so let’s see if the much touted defense of EJ’s on ball defense can keep Ellis at bay. Let’s get a W! Oh can’t forget Aminu. Show us some promise young guy!

Ugghhh 3-10 free throw shooting griffin??? What the heck has he been doing all last season during his rehab from injury. I thought he took a lot of jumpers and free throws. Shouldn’t he be much more solid at the line by now?? Imagine if that guy can shoot FT’s like Amare or Dirk. He’d have 30 pts right now.

It seems as if blake is only playing the first half of the game. Its preseason so he’s saving the best for the real deal. Now we’re headed to Mexico!

Blake is ready against sac he had a double double in 11 mins and now dominating on gsw man david lee couldnt guard him at all. If blake gets more solid at the line since he will be going there often he could average anywhere from 20 to 30 pts per game i say by his second year he will be avreaging 25 to 35 pt man blake is awesome dont get injured please

Sucks that clips loss but Blake is the real deal and I would like him to be better from the line. Only concern I have is this team inability to beat teams like Portland and Golden State which may hurt them from making playoff. I think Clips are talented enough to beat these teams and they MUST do it in the regular season. Other then that, It’s hard for me to judge each player but I can say Deandre Jordan still SUCK!!! He will NEVER Get any better he just doesn’t have what it takes to become an all around player besides dunking and ally oops. Very dissapointed in him.

  People need to stop thinking Deandre Jordan is an NBA level talent. Just a big dude who got lucky based on hype and wishful thinking. There’s a big reason why he dropped out of the first round on draft day — he’s not very good. Donald Sterling was right on this one. Clips should have traded DJ for a future first rounder.

I’m encouraged by Blake’s performance but Golden State tends to make opposing big men look awesome.

What do you mean Donald Sterling was right about Deandre Jordan? At some point, did he criticize their drafting of him or the lack of development from his game? For a second round pick, I still think Jordan was a good second round pick, as centers are especially valuable even if they are backups, and Sterling has nothing to complain about in terms of DJ’s salary.
Sterling doesn’t deserve any credit for anything unless you are counting racism, greed/ being extremely cheap, being a slum lord, and completely holding a major sports franchise hostage not because of fiscal reasons, as he could sell the team, but selfishness. There needs to be a coup with the ownership situation, so Geffen or anyone else can take control. I don’t really mean to be extremely negative about the season because I’m not, but if Sterling wants superstars to sign with the team, he can only look in the mirror and blame himself. On that note, GO PISTONS! GO CLIPPERS!
