Typically I’m very curmudgeonly with my postgame grades, but after witnessing one of the best first quarters the Clippers have ever played (settle down, Mike Smith), I was tossing around A’s like nobody’s business in the Lob City Ledger over at ESPNLA.com.
The rest of the ClipperBlog crew was pretty bullish on the Clippers’ performance as well. Kevin Arnovitz, Breene Murphy and Mark Shore broke down the beatdown, talked about the future a bit, and discussed the sillyness of Chandler Parsons barking at Blake in our usual postgame edition of ClipperBlogLive. Remember: We take calls (just Skype the username “ClipperBlogScreening”) and questions (hit up @ClipperBlogLive on Twitter or email ClipperBlogLive@gmail.com) during the show right after every single game, so feel free to jump in. Unless you’re a family member of Brian Cook. Then things could get awkward.
On the other side of the fence: The excellent Rahat Huq at TrueHoop Blog Red94.net dished out his grades and will probably be asking the Rockets frontcourt to see him after class.
Quote of the night: “I think they could be even more ambitious. They should shoot for number one.” — Kevin Arnovitz on the Clippers offensive efficiency ranking.
On deck: Nick Flynt and I will give you video evidence of the difference an aggressive Chris Paul makes.
