I like what you guys have going on here. Please keep the shows coming; it’s always fun to listen to you guys.
Piggy backing off of Mark’s final comments about Foye can also be applied to Billups. What I like that I don’t think Billups gets enough credit for is him feeding the big guys on fast breaks when he can easily lay the ball in. In the Nets game, Reggie Evans stole the ball away from one of the Nets (can’t remember who) and tips it out to Billups. Billups streaks down the court and could have made an easy layup but opts to dish it back out to Evans as a reward for his dirty work. Similarly, we saw that tonight when Billups leaked out and noticed that Griffin was trailing him. Instead of laying the ball up, he just shovel passed the ball back to Griffin for the highlight.
Those are the type of plays that are going to build chemistry and get this team pumped up.

I agree mostly with what you said, except, sometimes pursuit of the highlight can cost a game. We saw that with Billups last night with about a minute to go and a 5 pt lead, where he attempted a horrific no-look pass in the paint which ended up a turnover and Terry’s three pointer cutting it to a one possession game. Billups bailed us out at the buzzer, but….
In any event, it was a good rebound win after that stinker in Utah. Props to Mo Williams, my player of the game last night. Was good to get our lone bench-scorer back…

Good job Mo! It just goes to show you how important Mo is to us! He is are only scorer coming off the bench and if someone is missed he is more then capable and reliable. I seen alot of comments saying that we need to or should trade Mo and ive never agreed with this! Hes essential for us moving forward! Im also glad that they are finally gonna get some rest! I expect Blake to come out next game against Klove on fire! 10-4 by monday! GO CLIPS!

Mo was definitely the highlight. I’m guilty of forgetting how dangerous this guy can be.
I think he forces some shots at times…. but he IS a decent distributor and his defense seems quite a bit better than the tragedy I saw last year. A likely product of being in great shape.

Good call on Mo’s improved conditioning…he is moving around and chasing the ball a lot better.

Excellent call on the conditioning, I’ll second that. Very underrated part of his improved overall play.

Physical game yesterday. The guys were exhausted after three games in a row. It was not pretty but it was a good W. Agreed with 4Life if you want to go to the finals you have to have good bench. Love again will like to prove he is better than Blake

It’s funny. I remember when Minny swung that trade, Mayo for Love +. There were a ton of people thinking they were crazy. Then Mayo started his career strong and it really seemed a bad trade.
Now, we have an absolute doomsday machine on the one hand, and a borderline starter, good enough to get you beat type scorer on the other.

I think getting Wilson Chandler when he gets back from China will be perfect for the clippers, hope it is possible.

Then we can turn either Mo Williams and/or Bledsoe into a backup 5.

Wilson Chandler is RFA so it’s unlikely Denver lets him go. Per Hollinger’s chat today, I think we should target Chase Budinger from Houston.

Very interesting…have no idea how the cap/signing rules work for those guys (J.R. Smith included).

Is Kevin Willis still around? We could probably get him real cheap

Kevin Willis’ arms make Blake Griffin’s look like Stretch Armstrong.
