We had to grind it out but the win was so sweet. Hopefully we can beat the damn thunder tomorrow

This is no longer the clippers of old! Its evident by the way we pulled this out. The older clippers would have lost this one. But that is no longer the case! If we can win gritty games and not playing well imagine what we can do when this team is hitting on all cylinders.

Still have alot of issues we need to work on. Our bench in particular… also gotta work on our offense, not liking that we become a jump shooting team, which i think is a reason why we are as bad at rebounding because everyone just ball watches!

Also want to see more pick and roll… with blake actually cutting when he gets the pick instead of just waiting to get the ball for a jump shot…

i would also like to see more pick and rolls with DJ! I Dont think ive seen a pick and roll with DJ once this year.. i would also like to see more set plays for DJ! First game all year i actually saw DJ back some one down like it was easiest thing hes done! Gotta have more of that! Also dont want him to try and block every single shot out there because that leaves guys exposed.

All in all great gritty win for the Clips bring on the Thunder!

Yes Chris Paul is the team MVP, but I know clip fans will agree that MO WILL has been HUGE for us this year!

When we had Paul, Chauncey, Eric, and Mo I immediately wanted to get rid of Mo for a big. This would have been a huge mistake! Sorry Eric you ain’t getting playing time.

Big month coming up for clip fans! We will see what the clips are made of.

Best part of the espnla recap was:

“Billups said he’s trying to get former Denver teammate Kenyon Martin to join the Clippers after his Chinese team ends its season.”

KMART would be our BACKUP Power Forward…..how ridiculous nasty would we be???? WOW. And if Neil can land Joel P to back up DJ….we’re guaranteed to come out of the west. Done.

I have no problem with being called out for something I wrote, but next time, just speak your piece and keep it at that. No need to attack anyone here — we’re all Clippers fans just trying to talk hoops.

    staying up late eh? indeed, all clippers fans here. this was a good game for everyone. chauncey finally stepped up as he so badly needed. if he can keep it going, then i’m sure the team will do even better. as i said yesterday, as a big of fan of his, i’m just hoping that his efforts and value are being well perceived. from the outcome of this game, his performance tonight may just gave a little taste to some of the clippers fans that have yet to really get to see he plays. as to the article that you wrote previously, i do understand where you’re coming from and some of the facts that you had laid out to further prove your perspective on the matter. it’s understandable and i guess i had just taken the response from the rest of the community way out of hand. and so just want to let everyone know that there wasn’t any bad intention behind my posts. hopefully, we can still be able to critique the games and players from now on with respect and try to make an interesting discussion forum.

      Absolutely man — glad there’s no hard feelings or anything. I agree with you that Chauncey is a huge part of this team, and when he shoots like he did last night the Clippers are going to be extremely tough to beat.

one other note about the game here…. although chauncey had a much better shooting night, i’m not convinced either about his shot selections and some of the decisions that he’s making at times. it is still relatively uncharacteristic of him to be playing this way i think. overall today he made better judgement with some key plays down the stretch, but it’ll be interesting to see how he plays from this point. just hoping that this game can build some confidence back into him and gel the team together.
