To troll them or not to troll them…

This might sound sacrilegious, but I think VDN should’ve taken BG out in the 4th. His shot wasn’t dropping, he was tired, his mentality was gone as proven by his hesitation to take a wide open shot and turn the ball over. DJ playing only 20 minutes is unacceptable. DJ should’ve been in the 4th. His FTs couldn’t have been worse than BG’s and he had fresh legs and better defense. The luxury of having Martin is that he can fill Blake’s roll on offense and BG’s a star, but he’s still just a sophomore.

VDN’s inconsistency as a coach is rearing its ugly head. On some nights, VDN’s rotations and ability to win a game is stellar. On others, he’s a garbage coach like tonight and against the Bobcats playing both CP and Blake in the 4th quarter of a blowout.

Do you think Pau Gasol has ever gotten a perm? Or do you think his hair is naturally just full of volume and vibrancy?

4 and 2 road trip. Not bad! Very acceptable, great job guys! After all, this team had issues on the road earlier in the season.

The road trip was a success in my mind. The Clippers have proved that after the key loss of a star player they are able to adapt and still play as a team. As long as the Clippers continue to grow and develop they have the talent to make a great season this year. It is amazing that the Clippers kept the game so close against the Mavericks when they had 19 turnovers! It seems that at times they play to the level of their opponent which can be dangerous. However, consistency is something that each team strives for every game each season.

These are the first half stats for DeAndre Jordan and his opponent Brandon Hayward.
Jordan: 12 minutes, 0-1 from the field, 1 point, -11 +/-.
Hayward: 8 minutes, 5-6 from the field, 10 points.
Then they changed the defense on Hayward after he torched Jordan so badly.
This may be the best half Hayward has ever had. His highest point total for an entire game this season was 12, and that was because he hit 4 free throws. This game was Hayward’s best for the season as far as shooting from the field.
Anybody notice a pattern here?

DJ finished 2-3 from the field, 5 points, 9 rebounds, 2 blocks, 1 turnover.
He’s shooting 67% from the field on 5 shots per game, scoring 8.1 ppg, 8.8 rpg and averaging 2.6 blocks with just 1 turnover per game.
He’s 23 years old dude. This is “raw” production, imagine him at 26.
Your lovebird, Chris Kaman, averages 10.4 ppg on 10.6 shots a game shooting an abysmal (in contrast) 43.6%. He is getting 7.1 rebounds per game, 1.4 blocks and 2.45 turnovers in the same minutes played. Thats terrible.
You want to trade DJ and get Kaman back? Trade a 23 year old blocking nearly 3 shots a game for a 31 year old space cadet who has never played a full season?

Would J.R. Smith be the Key for the Clippers winning the title? If they don’t get him will they need to make a trade for another shooting guard with their exception?

As a long time Nugget fan your Clippers have the toughness that the Nugs are missing–Big Shot and K-mart. Caunc has already school us but now Kenyon will do what he does best–STOPPER when it counts. Then you’ll get JR to shoot you to wins.
