Reggie Evans is a great PF/C to have for 10-15 minutes a night. He can’t guard anyone, he isn’t a weakside shotblocking threat, he can’t shoot (from the field or from the foul line) and he has bad hands. But he can rebound on both ends like a madman. Before Kenyon Martin’s acquisition, the Clippers were asking a bit too much of Reggie (like asking him to play 20+ minutes a night).
Now? He can play something more along that perfect 10-15 minutes per, cleaning the glass on both ends, thus buying the Clippers extra possessions while stealing possessions from opponents; however, he now shouldn’t have to be on the floor long enough to hinder the Clippers on offense and defense for too-long stretches.
Overall Grade: B+
