Ready to put last night’s game behind you? Then it’s your lucky day! Two friends of ClipperBlog have taken turns praising Chris Paul, and both are worth an off-day look. Enjoy:
- Michael Pina, of CelticsHub and Red94, but writing at his own site, Shaky Ankles, takes a moment to celebrate just another breathtaking CP3 sequence, this one from last night’s game. Poor Steve Nash, man.
- Emile Avanessian, the proprietor of Hardwood Hype, lavishes praise upon Paul in the wake of what he (and many others) considered to be an awakening of sorts, when the Denver crowd began chanting “Beat L.A.” the other night. Avanessian, who covers the league as a whole but tends to focus on the two L.A. teams, gives CP3 credit for transforming the Clippers into a worthy recipient of this kind of treatment. He echoes the sentiments of many, arguing that Paul absolutely belongs in the MVP conversation with LeBron James and Kevin Durant.
