Yea !!!!! Nice win Clippers !!!! Haven’t been this excited in a long time. BTW,, it’s funny how much Charles Barkley hates the Clippers and is on the Memphis ball sac !

  Agreed saying blake needs to impact the game in more ways then just scoring. Well he had 7 assit and two assit were 3s. I guess he didn’t read mike smiths blake griffin stat. Clippers are undefeated when blake has 5 assit or more.

Charles doesn’t hate the Clippers. Charles just believes every team he picks to win a series should win a series, and when they lose he tries to find ways explain it away, and usually its by blaming the team he picked, and not giving credit to the team he didn’t.

    Yeah, but Shaq is possibly the worst analyst I’ve ever watched. He’s obnoxious on TNT. Chuck and Kenny are saying the Clips wouldn’t win without impacting the game outside of scoring. Blake’s 7 assists are impacting the game in other ways. However though, he can’t be getting 5 rebounds last night. It might be just a two game anomaly especially with CP3 leading the team in rebounds. That can’t happen if the Clips hope to play deeper into the playoffs.

I loved when Blake got Randolph to get that tech and just walks away smiling. Then at the end of the game when he gets fouled out and gives the refs a thumbs up saying nice call. That was the icing on the cake for me in the game.

The grading system that Heimer gave today was the biggest joke of the year. Get lost you fake fan. A- for Blake and Paul? How much better do you expect Griffin and Paul to play. What a noob grader. I don’t think I’m going to read another Lob City Ledger again Please retire that column and put some of these writers to bed.

  Yes, A- for blake and Paul is about right. What did you want an A+ for performances that were not even close to their best? While Blake did have 30 and 7 assists, he only had 5 rebounds, and Chris only had 7 assists.

    An A for Paul was appropriate at least. Assists are a two way street, you can’t make your teammate make a shot. He almost had a triple double. He only had a few turnover so that argument is weak. Paul carried the team in OT and all he can muster up is A-? It’s a little ridiculous. Rebounding is a team effort, boxing out your own guy is just as important as your teammate boxing out. There is a reason why Paul led the team. At times when you box out you take yourself out of the play to keep the oposing player from getting ball, which then forces you to rely on teammates to get the board. Also Griffin was in foul trouble throughout the game with fake fouls which can restrict aggressiveness.

      They gave up 18 Offensive rebounds.. Griffin battled hard, but we’ve seen him rebound better.
      
      The idea of the scoring system is that A+ would be they had the absolute perfect game, it could never be better. An A would have to go down as one of the players best games ever.. And statistically you can’t say that about either Paul or Blake. if Griffin made 85% of his freethrows, or Chris paul 55% of his shots, then i’d say A.

        I disagree but that’s probably because I’m grading them beyond simple stats but instead by the impact they had on the game. Blake had by far his best playoff game of the series and an impact that goes way beyond the box score. Getting all the bigs in foul trouble, providing a consistent low post scorer, hitting clutch free throws late the game, standing up to the Grizz bigs were all great things that he did. If you just want to measure just by the stat we can get a computer to do that, we don’t need Heimer and his weak grading system. By the way when did getting 7 assist become a non stat to everyone? Everyone focuses on the rebounds but no mention of assists.
