The NBA announced the Las Vegas Summer League schedule today.
The event runs begins on Friday, July 13, though the Clippers will not play their first game until the following Monday, July 16. This seems fitting for a team that presently has no first round pick, and whose most interesting player is probably the 37th pick from last year’s draft, Trey Thompkins.
Of course, waiting a few extra days can do nothing to dull the excitement of the greatest few weeks of the NBA offseason. And despite some of the logistical challenges presented by not having any games during the first weekend, rest assured ClipperBlog will have a presence, including hopefully a ClipperBlog Live or two.
For those of you looking to make the trip, below are the Clippers’ five games:
Monday, July 16th –- Clippers vs. Minnesota, 7 PM at COX Pavilion
Wednesday, July 18 — Clippers vs. San Antonio, 7 PM at COX Pavilion
Thursday, July 19 — Clippers vs. LA Lakers, 5:30 PM at Thomas & Mack
Saturday, July 21 — Clippers vs. Chicago, 5:30 PM at Thomas & Mack
Sunday, July 22 — Clippers vs. Boston, 3 PM at COX Pavilion
