Unbelievable the day after he signs a 5 year deal. I watched the whole practise yesterday(Nbatv)and I didn’t notice anything that would suggest it is serious then again I’m not a doctor.There was one play where Cousins shoved him,and another where he stretched to far going after a steal.Regardless they better not play him now(the US squad) regardless of how severe or not it really is three knee injuries(same knee) in his first 2 years is more then just troubling. How do only are players get injured there Wtf CP3(thumb)Blake(knee)

Also one more thing I know these injuries just happen and there a part of the game unfortunately BUT I dare say had VDN not played Blake and CP3 40minutes a night in every game last season(where they played every day)they probably wouldn’t have agravated their hamstring(CP3)and probably wouldn’t have put as much pressure on the recently repaired knee(Blake). Vinnie Del Negro only cared about his job last year CP3 played more minutes then anyone in the league last year as well. Oh and last thing for those who forgot this is the main reason VDN got fired and had a fight with John Paxson about when in his last season in Chicago he played Joakim Noah 40 minutes in an overtime game in his first game back after missing weeks.

On ESPN, they say the Clippers took the extra step of flying him all the way back to LA,, hello?? Thats like a 20 minute flight from Vegas baby. Its not like Blake was holed up in Beijing somewhere or something. As far as knee injury goes, there is no such thing as a knee injury thats ‘not good’, is there any other kind of knee injury? You don’t have to be a horse trainer to make that call. “The Blake knee injury did not look good!” I’ve never heard of a good looking knee injury, so lets wait until our Drs. sort things out, before we start jumping off of buildings, or selling Clipper stock, or crying about curses, and booking flights to Munich, Germany for the Kobe knee injection. Relax, and lets see what happens.

Wow! Dodged a big bullet!! Of probably all the knee injuries, a torn meniscus can be taken care of and healed pretty quickly. Now there are different levels of a tear (BTW same injury Bynum had a couple years ago) and can elect to have non-invasive surgery or let it heal over time and then rehab. Clips might want to have him talk to Kobe about that platelet enrichment procedure in Germany. Will do wonders for his healing and strengthening.

Should be noted though that once you’ve had that torn meniscus, you become susceptible to repeat injury. Take care BG and try to take it easy for a while.

This is a real blessing in diguise. BG now gets to rest (forced rest but..) for the next 2 months. He has just played in the most intense season of NBA and played HUGE minutes! No rest as he prepped for the Olympics and now a “relatively” minor operation whith 3 months before the start of training camp. You don’t want your franchise guy injures EVER!!! But if this was to happen, so much better it happens now and at home, rather than him doing something worse later and misssing half a season.

This will allow him to “slow down” a bit and hopefully learn to train “smarter, not harder”. Sorry for the cliche, but i think it works here. Also, he’s only going to be able to shoot freet throws for a while instead of practicing dunks off the walls!!! That has to be good!!!

The way things are playing out on the Howard trade front, the Clippers are starting to look like the best place for him.

The Nets are going to be way over the cap so Howard isn’t going to be able to go there as a free agent. The Nets will have about $70 million tied up for next year in only seven players (Johnson 20, Lopez 15, Williams 15, Wallace 10, Humphries 10).

Theoretically Orlando could trade Howard for Lopez in January, but that’s a bad thing for Orlando and they probably know it. The Max contract for Lopez is a huge mistake, and I doubt Orlando will want to take it on. And all of those future bottom of the barrel #1 picks don’t mean much.

Houston doesn’t have any good players on it’s roster now, so why would Howard want to go and play there.

He clearly doesn’t want to play with the Lakers.

The Clippers with Chris Paul and Blake Griffin, along with Lamar Odom, will be an excellent team for Howard to play on, far better than Houston and even better then Brookyln with Johnson and Williams.

So the Clippers are fools if they don’t get this deal done.

Minnesota waived Martell Webster. I would not be opposed to picking him up for cheap to be our wing defender against 3′s and 2′s. Hollinger says he can’t keep up with the quicker 2′s but he has the length to try to guard Kobe, Ginobili, the older 2′s and some of the 3′s. Maybe sign him on a one year deal and then if he starts sucking, trade him and Gomes to upgrade.

I also really hope Darko clears waivers so we can have a shot at picking him up.

Dwight is going to the Rockets for young talent on rookie deals, contracts ORL wants to rid themselves of and picks. Then Howard will leave for Dallas next summer.

In the Memphis series, the most important games Jordan has ever played, in three of the seven games he scored a total of *ZERO* field goals. In those three games he did manage to score a grand total of *ONE* point, on a sole field goal for all three of the games, and in the game where he did light it up with his one point, he had *ZERO* rebounds.

While all of that was not going on, on the other side of the ball, Mark Gasol was torching the Defensive Delusion without mercy.

Jordan’s was the worst performance by any player in the playoffs.

Now really, how can anybody realistically say that Jordan has improved in his four years in the NBA. It’s almost impossible for an NBA player to be any worse than Jordan was in the Memphis series, which was the pinnacle of his four years of “improvement”?

He clearly hasn’t improved in any significant way and there is no grounds at all to think he will suddenly start improving in the future just because he is young.

Pipedreaming about DeAndre DeGiant Desaster is fool’s gold. Jordan has to go.

Dj will be better than last year. The guy is big and there isn’t that many of them outhere anyways and alot of em are injured! Dj is not injury prone. We can’t go wrong with keeping the guy at least two more years.
People that watch him play have stated that he needs more Junk in the trunk to start boxing them other bigs out. He will get there. his body will mature. Just watch and enjoy and if you’re a clipper fan.. do try to cheer for them or at least enjoy the ride. I’d say its messed up if youre not enjoying our +500 seasons, lets remember that we at Clippernation are not exactly used to this, used to winning records. next season will be fun to watch. The self delusion going on here about how DeAndre DeGiant DeSaster isn’t terrible and is going to be good is so extreme it’s at a level that often lands nutballs in padded cells.

There is no validity to any of these foolish claims that Jordan is anything other than terrible.

And there is no grounds whatsover to claim he suddenly will be good this coming year, certainly not after four years in the NBA in which he improved so much that he was the worst player in the playoffs this last season.

The main reason he blocks shots is because he plays such poor defense. He’s way out of position because he can’t move his feet so he jumps up into the air to try and block the shot. It’s the way he played defense in high school, and there it worked OK because he was so much taller than everyone else on the court around him. It doesn’t work at all in the NBA, but that’s all he can do, and so he gets torched without mercy night after night, even by the worst centers in the league.

He has bad hands and can’t even catch the ball well, and he certainly can’t shoot it well. He has bad foot movement and can’t move around to get into the correct position either on defense or on offense. He has board hands and board feet. That’s why he’s been terrible for the last four seasons and it’s why he’s going to be terrible for the remaining three years on his contract.

Trying to trick the fans into thinking bad is good is what’s been going on around the Clippers for decades. Trying to trick the fans into thinking DeAndre Jordan is anything but terrible is that same kind of loser mentality.

Jordan has to go. If he stays, the Clippers won’t get out of the first round of the playoffs this coming season.

Then Paul will leave.
