I get so nervous watching Bledsoe hustling on d and for loose balls, but this kid is the epitome hard work. Even though Miami didn’t give Lebron, Wade and Bosh more minutes, we still looked great tonight.

Basically, if the NBA were like a video game, Eric Bledsoe always has the turbo on and is looking to score before the defenders are over the half court line. If its the other teams possession, he wants to steal the inbounds pass and dunk on you like a boss. This kid does not slow down and is thinking about a million different ways to score on you or steal your ball and make you cry.

DJ was BALLING tonight. If he plays like this consistently throughout the season, we won’t be hearing from Demote anytime soon. Awesome game for DJ.

I saw the highlights, Jamal Crawford has a sick crossover. Every time I watch the highlights and see Crawford, he’s making his defender look silly. I did not know his handles were that sick. I wish the game was on at a normal time so I could see it!
Clipperblog Live Fantasy Basketball League?? CBLFBL!!! Will it happen this year? Let the people know! Also, head to head please =]

As far as DeAndre, his offense looked better than I could have imagined. Looks very polished compared to that summer league experiment a couple years ago. It’s also pre-season and in China where people are going to show off more on offense than worry about defense.
I’m also worried he’s getting pushed out of the paint too much. defense is where he needs to improve, not offense. We’ll have to wait until the regular season on that.
All that being said, if he keeps this up, I’m ok with starting him. To me it seems like he’s better with Lamar Odom than BG.
I’d start BG and DeAndre, sub DeAndre early with Odom and then bring DeAndre back in when BG gets tired.
Don’t know what’s up with Turiaf, and Hollins didn’t look that great.

dj looks better did some work in off season but let’s not get carried away he has to prove it in regular season and through out the playoffs that he can be a factor
i like jamal crawford offensive game a big plus in upcoming season but i want 2 see more defense out of him hopefully he will get better with the second team which plays terrific defense bledsoe was terrific on defense he did his thing but why can’t he improve on his point guard skills can cp3 or chauncey teach him he goes 2 fast or throws pass 2 hard he just not in tune with his teamates

I have been very impressed by DJ. There is nothing wrong with being a player who could do it on both ends of the floor. Just because Blake Griffin’s defense sucks doesn’t mean DJ should solely concentrate on Blake deficiencies. DJ should step up and live up to his potential…

Clippers in a word
DJ, impressive (NBA’s Most Improved) “getting way ahead of myself”
Blake, Blake!
Caron, fluid
Green, out-of-sync
CP, stud!
Bledsoe, everywhere
Hill, saavy
Crawford, dagger
Barnes, glue
Odom, awakening
Vinny, no-worries!
Clippers? Dangerous!

After finally getting to watch the full replay of this game, I’ve gotta say there simply is no reason Bledsoe should not start at the 2 for the majority of the season. Like I said before, Odom can play point-forward and he did during the 4th quarter of this game with both Bledsoe and Crawford on the floor. He even played point-center. On the rare nights where Bledsoe is totally mismatched defensively (Kobe, JJ, George, there aren’t that many good starting SGs over 6’5″) Barnes should start at the 2. Even when Billups is back he shouldn’t be in the starting lineup because he would not be any better defensively against those guys than Bledsoe or Barnes.
