Preseason: Jazz v. Clippers

Clippers bench wasnt better last year. We had guys playing out of position. Mo willaims was a liablity on defense. Foye couldnt create for himself and ia proably the only guy I would have like to have back over green. K mart was a liablity on offense so was reggie but no body could replace the rebound machine. Nick young was good but often if he wasnt open he would try to create and make a difficult shot and often fail. Crawford is an upgrade over mo willaims which was our 6 man last year. L O looked ok in the second game of china him and dj really clicked and with the right conditioning he will be a good back better then martin and better then reggie except for rebounding. Not having foye is the only blimish we have cuz we javw green and we have btter back up sf. And I rather take a 46 your grant hill over ryan gomes eben though he is 40. And we got barnes. Not having gomes on this team makes us way better then last year. Gomes lost 4 games for the clips and if it werent for him we would have been division champs

The bench is way better this year, filled with guys who are actually well suited, and very accepting of their roles as bench players. The bench pieces fit this year. We loved Reggie. He rebounded missed shots, and dribbled to the top of the key for a reset. My guess is, this year with Crawford, there will be less missed shots from the bench bunch, thus less opportunities for the Evans types. We won’t miss the
other aspects of his game, as what is there is quite capable of defensive rebounding. Less missed shots means less chances a Reggie could impact in the first place.
