When the clippers were investigating Ray Allen, Courtney Lee, and before that J.R. Smith, everyone’s least favorite at the time on this blog and around the horn was Jamal Crawford.
Would you guys say it turns out he was the best choice out of the bunch?
This guy is the perfect fit and his getting to the line (6-6 today to lead the entire team) makes his game sustainable even if his ridiculously hot shooting cools down.
Bonus Question – Does anyone think we can make it to 58 games based on these last four quality wins?
apostolos
I think he can for sure because the Clippers have such a deep bench that he doesn’t need to over exert himself game after game. Which in turn will keep him fresh that way he’ll have the legs to cross people over & keep that good form on his jump shot.
Question: what did Charlie throw at the TV when Del Negro said he doesn’t want to Paul and Bled together and that he doesn’t know if he ever will?

*edit: “want to play Paul and Bled together”
Lawlers_Law
Ebled needs to get more than 18 mins…how can vinny ignore his impact!?
Clips4
I agree. Bledsoe is not the shooter that Green is, but if CP can play off ball for a few posessions with Bledsoe in, CP is a more than capable shooter from long range. Bledsoe can penetrate and is a better penetrator than CP I would say because of his explosiveness and athleticism.

1) How much has the offense been diversified since last year? I see more isolation plays especially with Crawford because he is a great one on one player.
2) Also, How come DJ didn’t get more burn tonight considering he could have dominated Miami’s bigs after seeing what he did to the Spurs and the Blazers last week.

Sorry, for double posting. It did not show up when I refreshed the page the first time. My shockwave player crashed on my browser.

can you guys, other than andrew, were all down on the team at the beginning of the season…something about how the pieces don’t fit…
Lawlers_Law
sad…kevinarnovitz Asked Del Negro if he’d consider giving some of W Green’s mins to Bledsoe. “That’s not going to happen right now.”

Willie Green’s playing the role of a placeholder for Chauncey Billups, right?
jpmanahan
Ryan Hollins +13.

Do you approve of the #ATribeCalledBench for the second unit?
To answer one of the questions, I think DeAndre didn’t get more playing time because Miami would have hack a shaqed him in the 4th quarter. I still wish he’d try to box out a bit more, but his offense has made up for it. He’s getting a lot better on the offensive boards too. Clippers are looking really good.
Clips4
Even if DJ was going to get hacked in the 4th, he has proven to be able to make his freethrows. All he needs is for that trust to keep his confidence high. I would say that his freethrow stroke is much better looking than Blake’s.
FD
True, I’m just guessing why VDN didn’t put him back in. Also why don’t these blog posts show up in the correct order as time posted?
Clips4
I agree with you FD, the website is really clunky. I like the look because it’s more modern, but it might be a case where scaling some things back with a less is more mindset would be optimal. The old format for CB was good because of its simplicity. I just wish the interface would be better in showing posts right when they are posted. I double posted for CBL last night because it did not show up right after I posted my comment.

There’s a “sort” option if you click on discussion that will sort the comments the way you like it. We’re still working on some errors and little things — thanks for sticking with us.
