Is there anything noteworthy to take away from Odom’s performance, or did the Kings just make it that much easier for him?
Michael
Odom was flat out superb. He didn’t dominate the stat sheet but his impact and making the correct play every single time was awesome. If he plays like this every game the Clippers get to the WCF at the worst.

Blake’s jump shot is looking better, but all season he seems to be struggling to get his own down in the paint. Do you think it’s too early to start worrying about his struggles to produce his normal numbers?

Griffin is playing less minutes, getting less touches and shots. So obviously his numbers will be down. I think as a total basketball player he has really improved. Don’t just look at his stats. His free throw shooting has improved. His jump shot is getting better and better. He just needs to learn to not hesitate on offense which allows the defense to surround him especially in the paint. His defense has also improved a lot. Overall much better player. With this stacked team you probably won’t see a season average of 22/11 but more like 19/10/3.
Lamar Odom was a whopping “Excellent” on the Difference column, +23! He ties with Caron Butler, and joins Chris Paul and Blake Griffin as the four Clipper players to have a positive Difference rating of 20 or higher.

I think all of us need to give Vinny props for sticking with Odom and believing in him as we all criticized. I just hope this isn’t a flash in the pan type deal but the way he played wasn’t anything hard to do so I predict more consistency going forward. All it was… was him not forcing things and just letting the game come to him.

I like what I’m seeing from Odom and DeAndre. That drop step right hook by DeAndre is super hard to defend without the double team. Good on him.

LOL…ClipsNation.com Night going on in the background!

With LO, Bledsoe, and Crawford, you have 3 players, when at their best are completely impossible to defend, and with Turiah, Barnes, and Hollins complimenting with hussle, this is really scary. Billups running with the starters has the ball movement at an all time high, and who knew DJ would command the double team down low. Never knew the days of throwing the ball down low into DJ would amount to taking candy from a baby without the double-team. I still beleve with all these weapons, nothing happens good for this team without the Dunleavey type stats, the deflections, forced turnovers, and fast break points. When the Clips are producing Dunleavey stats, this team is unbeatable. However, and Demote won’t like this next statement but, it all starts with “DJ, thats my DJ!” and his energy! By the end of next season, this 40 mill will be thought of as a bargain. This is a Big Mans league and DJ is turning into the straw that stirs the drink, and when you have complimentary players like Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, Chauncey, the list goes on, that’s very frightening, yes frightening, I said it. The Clippers are FRIGHTENING!!!
