Is Blake’s lack of rebounding (and the entire team’s struggle to grab boards) cause for concern? Obviously it hasn’t mattered the past two nights, but what about when the Clippers face a contender in a playoff series?
Concern is a strong word. I guess if rebounding on the defensive end is considered a stop, Clippers make up for it in other areas. Perhaps Blake and DeAndre are busy running the floor???
If VDN loves consistency, shouldn’t he be prepping DJ for the 4th qtr on the playoffs by giving him more minutes in the 4th? what’s the deal there?
Not if VDN isn’t planning on playing DJ any differently in the 4th as he is now. Assuming health, L.O. is a better offensive facilitator, probably a near equivalent rebounder, and not such as much of a liability from the line. Don’t see why the rotation would change

Clipper Darrel is technically the Clipper mascot.
Trivia…which two other NBA teams don’t have a mascot?
Lakers and Pacers?
Close…Lakers and Celtics…pretty fine company, I say…
I knew Lakers because you can’t have a mascot for a lake…. or at least that would be hard to pull off. I have no clue what a pacer is though…
Indy 500. Pace car.
Ooooh ok. That makes a lot more sense now. Thanks!
They’ve said he’s not on the payroll and the Clippers don’t want him representing them. I know you’re joking, but like the Clippers said, Clipper Darrel is all about money.
which one of the cb blogger is Brenda Walsh?
Jovan. Definitely Jovan.
A point of order if i may: firstly my workplace uses the “compliment sandwich” feedback model, it’s just called something else. So I get it as a concept. Secondly, a sandwich is identified by its contents – BLT, meatball, melted cheese etc etc. A sandwich isn’t primarily identified by what contains the contents, otherwise most sandwiches would be called bread sandwiches. But sometimes it may be used in a secondary sense, i.e. chicken wrap (note the use of chicken as the prefix).
I think Jordan Heimer said it should be a criticism sandwich (rightly so) – so perhaps a different analogy would suit. Maybe a complement slapface. Initially you’d think “oh my, someone just slapped me” *said in a Kenny from 30 rock voice* but then they’d be all like “dude there was a bug on your face so I slapped and killed it”. And you’d be like “thanks for the slap dude”. #whiskeythoughts
PS DJ, how’s your knee?
As you can see, I have become very large due to my poor rehabbing habits. But the end is in sight, I’ve got 6 months left, so it’s time to get serious. No more Hot Plate for me.
You’re not large. You’re just rounder and more aerodynamic!
Andrew Han doing his best to crush Asian stereotypes. “asian Dylan McKay” First math, now capitalization. =D
I just want to mention the second one was intentional 😀
