1) With Odom’s injury, how will DJ’s minutes be affected in closing out games?
2) The bench has struggled in back to back games. Is it just a funk that they’re in now or is Bledsoe coming back to the bench mob something that will require time to renew that chemistry?
I’ve been liking DeAndres level of play recently but even so, with VDN’s penchant for veterans, I’m guessing Hollins might even play – Hollins is a 71% FT shooter.
With your second question, I think a lot comes down to Barnes’ offensive productivity. I don’t know the stats, but my eyes/memory tell me he was scoring 12-17 points or so during the 17 game winning streak, along with Jamal scoring well. Even though Barnes is a tough unit and gets plenty of therapy (and cigars apparently) he has had lingering hand injuries, Flipping the coin, teams are well aware of A tribe called bench and have made adjustments.
A couple questions:
1) Can this Clippers team stay healthy into the playoffs? And if so, how do they stack up vs. OKC and San Antonio?
2) Are the Clippers this good, the Lakers this bad, or somewhere in between?
3) Is this the season lowlight/highlight for the Lakes and Clips, respectively?
4) What happened to the Tribe Called Bench (and more specifically, Bledsoe?)
Is it me? Or do other Clippers fans jump out of their seats when they see Deandre hit two free throws in a row on the line? Even more so than a DJ alley oop…
percentage wise, how much better are the clippers with chauncey in the starting lineup in comparison with willie green?
Chauncey’s hit some form which has really helped colour his return. I’ve loved seeing him hit daggers from above the break. imo, that’s a killer spot to defend as it’s very hard to hedge on post players with a player like Chauncey behind you – if that make sense…
Now that we’re at the all star break, how likely is it that the Clippers hit that 58 win mark?
Did the Clippers win this game or did the Lakers lose it? Hey, where you guys going? What’d I say?
Why has the clippers 3 point defense improved so?
ok guys… Going back to Clippertalk, Will E-bled be a dud or stud in the all star dunk contest? (I can think of shannon brown being a huge dud with E-bled dunking abilities) Go Clips!!!
“Vinny is the coach and he does like people that can hit free throws.” Really? Reggie Evans? Kenyon Martin? 2012-13 Lamar Odom? All as bad or worse than Deandre Jordan at the foul line. It’s not the free throws guys, or if it is, VDN’s logic is as flawed as yours.
D’oh. Good point. Can’t believe I forgot how terrible Evans and Martin were last season.
In terms of our logic being flawed, wasn’t the question about Hollins’ shift above Turiaf in the lineup and the possible changes with the uncertainty of Odom’s injury? Pretty difficult to assess a situation when we’re speculating based on a new rotation change and an incident with little to no information other than Odom being sent to the hospital.
I think VDN was stuck between a rock and a hard place with Martin and Evans, It’d be interesting to ask VDN what are the key differences between the big men closing games out last season to this season.
Again I said it before. Simply put. No Chauncey? No Title. As good as CP is? Chauncey makes better decisions. He’s more efficient. His perimeter shooting, defense and calmness are invaluable. Dude is a born leader.

The team up for watch the throne might mean Jay Z is Ray Allen. But considering performance and history, Dwayne Wade makes more sense.
The guy your talking about is @Matit99 . I follow him on twitter and Instagram. he doesn’t tweet much. He hangs out with Blake a bit. His beard rivals @jordanheimer
Here’s @matit99 running laps I think in front of Caron, Blake and DeAndre https://twitter.com/realtuffjuice/status/280379285838127105
