The TNT guys say VDN is a disciple of Pop – do you think there is a difference between coaching under someone versus playing for them?
Once again vdn gets out coached
Theres no point stating the obvious about VDNs play calling (2 timeouts and you end up with a Jamal 3?), so I’ll just say this: this team is CP or bust and with every game he seems to get a different injury. Tonight a tweaked ankle. I hope he can stay healthy and get them as far as he can because it’s really on him.
LAC also fell in love with the 3 pointer. We took 33 shots from 3 tonight. 33!!!!!
Those 3s at the end made me lose my appetite. No one drove to the basket when cp had two guys on him. Caron shot the god awful 3 when Blake was running to the rim. Blake was horrid don’t get me wrong and he passed up shots when he should not have but he should have gotten the ball
Someone on Twitter pointed out that in the 3rd quarter when DAL was in the bonus, LAC only took 6 freethrows in 10 minutes. LAC did not take advantage of the bonus situation and it was disgusting to watch…
For us folks with poor memory, do you remember what exactly was run for Blake in his rookie season that made him appear often time more dominant (scoring wise) then we see today? What could this team do going forward to ensure Blake is more involved throughout?
PnR…he rolled to the basket more…didn’t take the 18ft jumper…
Dont forget, we lost a crap ton of games his rookie year. I’ll take the 18 foot jumper and 50 wins any day of the week.
I want everyone’s opinion of tonight’s exciting draw by US in Azteca stadium? #forgettonight
I’m sure this is obvious to all, but the Clippers need to do at least get DeAndre more than 3 shots a game. Every time they go to the guy in the post he scores or gets fouled. He is essentially unstoppable if he doesn’t get stripped. He needs to be fed the ball and go to work around 10 times a game to punish the opposing post players.
Second, why is it that Bledsoe can’t get more than 10-13 minutes a game? Why is he only Chris Paul’s backup with the limited minutes that this provides? There has to be a way to get him on the court with Paul for 10 minutes a game – he deserves 20-25 minutes. It would be a simple matter to start him to leave him out there as the 2 when Paul comes back in the second quarter.
