We interrupt Los Angeles’ coaching search to bring this message: On Wednesday, Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted that DeAndre Jordan has been invited to Las Vegas for Team USA camp.
Clippers center DeAndre Jordan has been invited to the USA Basketball national team camp in Las Vegas, league source tells Y!

Whether this is as a member of the Select team, comprised of young, rising star talents to train with and eventually succeed to the national team, or as a prospective applicant for the 2014 World Championship team is still unclear.
One thing it does express, though, is that Jordan’s value around the league is well regarded. Only players in the upper echelon of their skills or positions are given invitations to the national team camp. And, while Jordan is by no means a finished product, the Team USA committee must feel that he’s realized enough of his development to add the still untapped potential to the pool of participants.
