The Clippers have agreed to terms on a deal with rookie forward Brandon Davies, the team announced Thursday.
Davies spent the summer playing on the Clippers’ summer league team in Las Vegas. In those five games, he averaged 5.8 points and 4.0 rebounds per game in 15.8 minutes per night.
Davies graduated from Brigham Young University in May after four years as an impact player for the Cougars. As a senior, he averaged 17.7 points and 8.0 rebounds per game in his 29.3 minutes a night.
Davies plays as mainly a pick-and-pop forward offensively. He’s a pretty good mid-range shooter and crashes the boards hard. Defensively, he’s a smart player that shows good effort. That effort showed most in his final summer league game when he pulled down three offensive boards and had 14 points.
Davies is the 15th and final man on the Clippers’ roster. That means that for now, the Clips are done with free agency. After signing Antawn Jamison last week and Davies on Thursday, the roster is full.
