Blake showed tonight to be more assertive down the stretch with his 6 points and solid defense on LBJ. Should Blake be more assertive and does he need to be more assertive in the 4th? Also are the Clips playing to their level of competition?
Are those rhetorical questions?
First one, no. Second one yes.
1. Drew Gooden is out there and Lamar Odom is out there, sober or not both of those guys would be an upgrade over Byron Mullens…
There were some defensive lapses in this game, for sure, but what did you think about the defense overall? Also, what adjustments could the Clippers make to protect CP3 on those traps?
CP was so bad I wanted them to keep him on the bench. He dribbled too much. Didn’t take wide open shots. I get they smothered him but some of his decisions were just stupid. He did not handle that well. It’s the same vs spurs. They take him out of everything and he just
Doc needs a few more games still.
I miss the random hat you wear when you are hosting, Andrew.
Redick has a step on Lebron going to the basket, but wussed out and went for a jump shot. Bledsoe would have dunked it.
#1 problem with the clippers is decent defenders on the wing positions at times pt. guard spot as well but Chuck the bully keeps saying it’s Blake # 2 problem is CP3, he is great smart consistent tough competitive but he is small and not fast enough 2 overcome his small stature, he needs 2 recognize that and start building up DJ and Blake do more by doing less make Blake and DJ use their athletic advantages more – sometimes CP3 thinks he should be the man all the time let Blake be the man he as the best tools 2 do this once he develops more on defense watch out best player in the game hands down – like Blake’s effort 2nite but constant critic by Reggie Miller and others is borderline cheap shot never talked about the main problems of clippers just focus on hammering Blake – losers that is why he could never win a title
