I would love to have Seraphin coming off the bench. Restricted FA after this season.
this team is so much better when paul is looking for his own shot. sadly he does it only once every 2 weeks. Do you guys feel like theres a specific reason for that?
He’s a leader. Part of being a great leader on the court is getting everyone involved, and maximizing the potential of your teammates. He, as any other great player, knows that a game cannot be won by his own efforts. More often than not, wins come from a balanced team effort, if not at least multiple guys having great games.
Moreover, when he gets others involved, it keeps the defense honest. When the Clippers wings are involved and making shots, defenders are forced to stay home on the shooters. That gives Paul more real estate on the court to work his magic.
CP3 was the man in New Orleans. He had to be the man on that team, and he knew it. He asserted himself as a scorer there, because he had to. From what I’ve seen over CP’s Clippers career, he asserts himself as a scorer when he feels like it’s needed. However he values chemistry a great deal, and likes to keep hungry mouths fed. A few lobs here, a few corner 3′s here. When your roleplayers have the opportunities to score that CP gives them, they become motivated to play harder. The gift that keeps on giving.
You don’t know who they’d target!!? lol. Why am I listening?
