Did the Clippers lose to the Dubs because of a back-to-back, or do they just fear the Warriors? Dubs are 7-5 against the Clippers since CP3′s arrival, and Curry is 17.7 PTS per game against them. Everything the Clippers try to do against the Dubs, the Warriors do better. Clips need to learn about zone defense if they want any chance at beating this team.
uhhh… Curry’s average is way higher than 17.7. That actually means the Clippers are doing a great job of defending him on average. I think the Clippers lost to them because they happen to be playing without their best player, who happens to be the best point guard on the planet.
Honestly, if the warriors didn’t win id be surprised. The Clippers are simply overmatched from a talent perspective without Chris Paul.
Even with Chris Paul, they can’t beat the Dubs. I’m afraid if the Clippers draw the Dubs in the playoffs, they will automatically get swept. I feel that Doc is gonna pull a trade for a player who, if they can’t reach the Western Conference Finals, at least help them get past the Dubs.
Looks like they beat them right there. Golden State has so far beaten the Clippers without Chris Paul or without Blake Griffin(ejected), as well as only being able to beat the Clippers at home. The Clippers on the other hand won the only time both teams had a healthy roster.
Basically the Golden State series this season shows one thing, the Clippers are a better team when playing with Chris Paul and Blake Griffin then without Chris Paul and Blake Griffin. Unsurprisingly, teams in general play better with their best players than they do without them. I will coin this groundbreaking theory as the “Both Chris Paul and Blake Griffin are important if the Clippers want to beat good teams” theory.
Important question: what is going on with your hair these days, Han?
