It’s no surprise, but with Thursday’s trade deadline looming, the Clippers are still exploring all avenues to upgrade their big man rotation:

Whether anything materializes is unknown. A lot of rumors have been left untouched simply because the Clippers have particular needs and precious few assets, leaving very few viable trade partners. And it’s still plausible Los Angeles simply takes the best available free agent big man over trading for a comparable one.
What’s say you? Is there a team that has a clear upgrade in backup big man options versus a free agent that makes sense for both sides? Ideally, the Clippers would also shed two million in salary in any given trade to creep out of the luxury tax and avoid an unnecessary potential repeater tax next season.
