Goddamn refs gave Thunders the game…
Thunder…Its not plural.
They should make the teams play again those final seconds. If one call on the eff REPLAY wasn’t enough, the foul from CP3???
This is simply too ridiculous to be eff true. I know that there are dubious calls, but those 2 were not dubious, it was a REPLAY! You CAN’T correct calls on replays, WTF was that??
Clippers already had that and they had to deal with getting the call against Golden State Whiners, the foul that was not called and then ruled as last touch Clippers and now THIS?
Refs did screw us, but it does not matter because I can’t think for the reason for Chris Paul to be up in the air or shoot before that play. What was that?
Of course it matters. If one wasn’t enough how would you feel after those 2 calls? It’s easy to say but to be there, in the heat of the moment and say that it didn’t affect the Clippers and say it didn’t matter, that’s too much.
I’m just depressed about it. This game was ours for the taking!
Ever since the Donald Sterling scandal broke, I predicted that the refs would purposely rig games against the Clippers. I was right. The Clippers must trust in themselves and not trust anybody outside the roster. The refs are against them because of Donald Sterling. Conspiracy is at an all time high with this team.
I’m pissed off… Now that I got that out of the way some basketball questions: Despite the outcome, are you encouraged by the way the clippers played with limited minutes by Deandre Jordan?
Rarely does DJ fouls out of a game and it is also rare for KD to stink it up for the first 3 quarters, but DJ fouling out seem to be the turning point for OKC. My opinion is that if DJ didn’t foul out Clippers win this game by 10+.
Why isn’t JJ getting any 4th quarter minutes over crawford.
I hate this. JJ is better and more reliable than Crawford
Russ in the second half, I think especially in the 3rd if I’m recalling correctly kept driving to the basket on CP3. Shouldn’t CP3 have sagged off instead of playing up-close and allow Russ to take jumpers?
CP3 did sagged off and Russ took two or three mid-range shots but that is all I recall.
He would have shot open jumpers which he’s been hitting.
I agree but I would rather have him settle for those open jumpers instead of attacking the basket especially since DJ was out for majority of the 3rd quarter. With DJ gone there is no threat of rim protection.
As much talk as we have had recently about “greatest victories in Clipper history”, would you not consider this one the “worst loss in Clipper history”?
The Daniel Ewing/Raja Bell game vs Phoenix in 2006 was the leader. Tonight’s game now takes the top spot.
Is Chris Paul the most to blame for the lost? I feel he is the one who is ultimately responsible for slowing down the offense in the final minutes.
CP3 is to blame because of his TO’s down the stretch.
Yes…BUT…Perhaps it will inspire him to win the next 2. Be the man he was born to be!!!!!
when will he learn…i just don’t know…why do coaches let him do this. why do his teammates let him do this. Along with Jamal. Why does everybody clear out for them instead of running a play.
When Chris first started to slow down the offense, Griffin came to set up the pick early in shot clock but Paul waved him off to waste down the clock and that was their offense for the next few possesions. On the court it is still whatever Chris says goes but Idk why Doc didn’t address this during those crucial minutes.
I’m not sure if this true, from Tiwtter:
LBJ’s record in the playoffs:
with Joe Crawford refing; 25-3
without Joe Crawford refing: 41-50
please help me feel better and give me hope for the series. I feel primal and angry at the world
if there is a game 7, clips can win in okc. homecourt will be irrelevant at that point.
The Clippers were not suppose to win this game. The NBA was not going to allow it. They want a game 7.
i understand this, however, I also hope the powers that be don’t care who wins that game 7. unfortunately it is clear that the NBA has anointed KD as the mVP, Finals MVP and Champion this year to MANUFACTURE a Magic/Bird – LBJ/KD rivalry.
The first 6 minutes of Game 6 will determine how badly the NBA wants a Game 7. I expect a lot of cheap fouls on OKC early.
Not rigged CP3 TOTAL CHOKE! He will take the blame and should. Spurs will beat either team as they are mentally stronger.
2 turnovers and fouling a 3pt shooter when up by 2 in last min?? WTF CP3 – horrible the worst choke I have ever seen in sports. period.
As great a player CP3 and Jamal are they never can hold leads, they get careless and give up leads and then hope 4 miracle shots, they don’t value each possession, like Doc says all the time CP3 is not listening keeps slowing down the pace all of the time but I got 2 give Russell Westbrook credit, he may make mistakes but he is aggressive all of the time, he gives his team a chance 2 win., Hard game 2 lose but Clippers don’t have enough athletes and DJ as disappear when you need him, Blake played well
A Chris Paul t.o. in the last two minutes of a game is not a rare thing.
If you watched every game this year, you know that.
